At the end of a hard day skiing, boarding or walking you can take a shower or bath to help sooth your aching limbs. All the necessary amenities such as restaurants, bars, ski hire, supermarket, ski school and nursery slopes are less than 5 minutes walk away. There is a ground floor locker for ski and boot storage. A selection of books and games are also provided to help with the evening's entertainment. The charming village of Morillon is just 10 mins drive away and one of the most beautiful towns in the French alps, Samoens is 5 mins further.

The Rhone / French Alps / Haute-Savoie region
Morillon is part of the Grand Massif. This huge ski area has 265kms of slopes of slopes, 1000 acres of traced slopes and 75 ski lifts. The main resorts within the Grand Massif are Flaine, Samoens, Lez Carroz, Morillon and Sixt. One ski pass will give you access to all of these resorts. The famous resort of Flaine is just over the mountain (3 ski lifts away). The Port du Soleil resorts are nearby including Les Getz and Morzine-Avoriaz. Chamonix and St Gervais are within one hour's drive down the A40.
Grand Massif / Morillon area
The northern alps are full of beautiful resorts and place of interest at all times of year. The beautiful lakeside town Annecy is less than one hour's drive away.
Les Esserts (Morillon 1100) offers three lawn tennis courts situated in wonderful mountain surroundings
The recreational park, "Lac Bleu" is in the centre of Morillon village and offers a range of summer activities such as bathing, mini-golf, fishing, swimming, tennis, horse riding, petanque, volley-ball, a merry-go-round etc.
Horse-riding is available in Morillon, Samoëns and Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval
For those who like to be more active; canoing, mountain-biking, climbing, glacier-hiking, pot-holing, hand-gliding, rafting, diving school and helicopter rides are available at a number of locations in this part of the Grand Massif
If all that activity leaves you needing a day off then Samoëns has the "Le Criou" cinema, a library, donkey rides and plenty of shops.
How to get there
From Geneva airport, follow the green signs for France. Head down the A40 towards Chamonix-Mont Blanc and exit at Cluses following the signs for Samoens, Taninges. Keep following the signs for Samoens until you arrive in Morillon village. Take a right heading up the mountain towards Les Esserts for 5 kms. There is ample parking immediately on the left when you arrive at Morillon 1100 (Les Esserts). The apartment is about 5 mins walk fom the car park but if you ask the attendant you shold be able to drive up to unload your cases.

Further details outdoors: Morillon is one of the closest ski resorts to Geneva. From getting off the plane you can be skiing within 1.5 hrs. The Grand Massif has enough skiing both on and off piste to keep even the most experienced skiers and boarders happy. Flaine is only three chair lifts away just over the mountain and if you purchase a pass for the Grand Massif you can ski to Samoens, Sixt, Les Carroz and Flaine. If you would like to try other ski resorts, Les Getz, Morzine-Avoriaz, Chamonix are within an hour's drive. There are a wide variety of summer activities available also; quad biking, horse riding, paragliding, trekking, potholing, golf, bathing, fishing, tennis, volley-ball, mountain biking available in Les Esserts, Morillon and Samoens. The beautiful town of Annecy (little Venice) is less than one hour's drive.

Long weekend rentals also available. Towels and bed linen are included in the price but we ask that you clean the apartment and leave it as you found it. Prices shown are for up to 6 persons. Additional occupancy up to 8 individuals will incur a £50 charge for each additional person.
We are happy to offer airport transfer, arranged activities and full catering if required. Just ask...
Conditions
A deposit of 20% is required to confirm all reservations. We request that guests pay a refundable breakages deposit of £150 to cover cleaning and/or damage. Payment in full is required ten weeks before the start of the rental period.
We do not allow smoking within the apartment but you are free to do so on the balcony.
