The Rhone / French Alps / Haute-Savoie region
The Grand Massif comprises Flaine, Samoens, Les Carroz and Morillon and is an impressive ski area with plenty on offer for all standards of skier and boarder. Most villages have nursery slopes and intermediates will enjoy the picturesque tree-lined slopes back down to the resorts. More advanced skiers and boarders can challenge themselves with the mogul fields and off-piste powder skiing. Lift queues are kept to a minimum in the Grand Massif due to its impressive lift system.
Grand Massif / Flaine area
Flaine is the gateway to the Grand Massif which takes in the resorts of Samoens, Les Carroz, Morillon and Sixt Fer à Cheval. The 71 ski lifts connect 137 pistes (265km) for easy skiing between all areas. There is a wide range of skiing for all standards, including moguls, powder, off-piste and picturesque tree lined slopes back own into the village.

This brand new complex for winter 08/09 will comprise of 145 apartments sleeping 2-8 persons, all of a 4* standard, in the two residences “Les Terrasses d’Eos”. The development is located in a quiet position, directly on the slopes in the new area Flaine Montsoleil.
The residence will offer a wide range of apartments and facilities which feature an outdoor heated swimming pool, jacuzzi, saunas, steam room and fitness area. Beauty treaments are also available payable locally.
Further details outdoors: Flaine is a modern, purpose built resort in the Haute Savoie region, located in a unique bowl with many north facing slopes. It usually enjoys a lot of sunshine, excellent conditions and has a good reputation for powder skiing.
Other Facilities On offer are skidoos rides, hang gliding, paragliding, the Renault ice driving school, ice quadding & karting, dog sledding, helicopter flights, snowshoeing, indoor climbing wall, ice skating, cinema, cultural centre and 10 pin bowling.
