Situated in the charming 17th century alpine resort of Samoens less than an hour from Geneva, Les Terraces is a delightful, privately owned chalet available for rent.
Fully refurbished in 2004, the upstairs accommodates 8-10 people upstairs in 4 double bedrooms that are all wooden clad with varnished wooden floors and have been carefully styled so they can be arranged as a combination of twins, doubles or triples, three with en suite, the fourth with its own dedicated bathroom. The living area boasts a high-tech stainless steel kitchen with adjoining diner, and a large traditional living room with log fire.
For larger groups there is also a separate apartment accommodating 4 people in 2 bedrooms for larger groups. Please contact us for more details.

The spacious living room features a large open fireplace and a crazy 1950s slate floor which has been lovingly restored and extent ended into the dining area and the all new stainless steel kitchen.
As well as the open fire, the chalet features central heating with radiators in all bedrooms and living areas and the extra luxury of underfloor heating in the en suites, the bathroom, the kitchen and the boot room.

The Rhone / French Alps / Haute-Savoie region
Samoens is situated in the Giffre Valley in the Haute Savoie region of the French Alps. In winter it is part of the "Grande Massif" ski area which includes Flaine and has over 250km of pistes. In the summer the area is famous for its out door activities, mountain biking, mountain walking including the "Tour des Dentes Blanches" and the GR5 route to Chamonix, rock climbing and White Water Rafting.
It is well situated for other towns including Chamonix 45 mins, Geneva 1 hour, Annecy 45 mins and the Portes du Soleil (Les gets & Morzine) 20 mins.
The Grand Massif / Samoens area
Located in the Haute-Savoie and part of the famous French ski area, the Grand Massif, the ski resort of Samoëns is easily reached thanks to low cost airlines, which fly regularly from airports throughout the United Kingdom.
The only ski resort to be listed by the “Caisse des Monuments Historiques” as a “Land of Art and History”, Samoëns has remained unspoilt by tourist developments.
