About the home

Newly built traditional wooden chalet set on three floors. Beautifully decorated and furnished throughout to the highest standards. Top floor has two double bedrooms, two bathrooms and a further room with bunk beds for two people (Master bedroom has en suite jacuzzi bath). Ground floor has large sitting room with fireplace, separate dining area, fully equipped kitchen plus further dining area, bedroom/study which has a new piano. Bottom floor has its own entrance, sitting/dining room with fireplace and kitchen, bathrrom/WC, one double bedroom and room with four bunk beds. It is sometimes used as a separate flat. Sauna with wooden cold water tub and luxury massage shower.

Three TVs, two DVD players, one video cassette machine, three radio/CD players, selection of DVDs available for guest's use (for children and adults). Selection of toys and games. Small table and chairs for toddlers. Freezer available, two washing machines, two diswashers, two fireplaces. Kitchens include toasters, kettles, hand blender, baby bottle warmer, steriliser. Hair dryer. Outdoor furniture on balcony.

The lower floor has wooden decking running all the way along the house and providing two sitting out/dining areas. The middle floor (entrance floor) has a wooden balcony running along the front and one side of the house providing one large sitting out/dining area with large wooden table and chairs. Each bedroom on the top floor has access to a balcony.

The Rhone / French Alps / Haute-Savoie region

Samoens is situated in the Haute Giffre Valley in the Haute Savoie region of the French Alps. In winter it is part of the "Grande Massif" ski area which includes Flaine, Morillon, Le Carroz, Sixt as well as Samoens. In the summer the area is famous for its mountain walking including the "Tour des Dentes Blanches" and the GR5 route to Chamonix. It is well situated for other towns including Chamonix (45 minutes), Geneva (55 minutes), Annecy (40 minutes) and the Portes du Soleil (20 minutes)

The Grand Massif / Samoens area

Samoens is an ancient town with many beautiful old buildings and a justly famous village square. As well as skiing and mountain walking it offers cross country skiing, walking, snow shoeing and skating in winter and white water rafting, via ferrata, paragliding, aerial adventure parks, tennis, river and lake fishing and swimming pools in summer.
