Situated in a very convenient located on this luxury complex , the property is only 30 metres away from the nearest ski lift (which operates in summer) and close to all amenities.
Comprising 4 bedrooms (1 en suite) and with 2 further bathrooms, the property can sleep up to 10 and is ideal for 2 families (or 1 large one) wanting a family friendly resort {excellent creche/nursery facilities].
In the summer, Morillon is an ideal location for discovering the mountains and enjoying numerous outdoor activities.

Although an apartment, being located on 2 floors it has a ski chalet feel. Truly alpine, constructors MGM have provided numerous wooden features inside which give the property a warm, homely feel.
There is a 'coin montagne' room upstairs which can be used as either another bedroom or as a 'chilling out ' area for the children - it has its own TV/DVDand CD.

Further details outdoors:
The property has a large 'L' shaped balcony facing South East. which gives you fantastic views of the Giffre valley and mountains beyond.
The ski locker is about 20 metres away and has direct access to the slopes so you can ski in/ski out in normal conditions.
The convenience store, ski hire shop and best restaurant are all within 30 metres.
The lift which operates in summer also [and has special attachements to take mountain bikes] is only 30 metres away.
Private parking for the Refuge De L'Alpage complex is situated about 50 metres away.

Further details

Rental is on a weekly basis from Saturday to Saturday [more flexibility may be available in the summer]. Linen and towels are included and we shall arrange for our representatives in resort to greet you on your arrival.

The Rhone / French Alps / Haute-Savoie region

Situated in the French Alps, the region has two main seasons, winter and summer. In winter the French Alps has an excellent snow record and skiing for all abilities. In summer, it is an outdoor playground with beautiful scenary, stunning views and a host of places to and activities to do.

The Grand Massif / Morillon area

Morillon itself is situated in the beautiful Giffre valley. The source of the Giffre is in the mountains separating France from Switzerland. Beautiful waterfalls (Cascades) can be seen at nearby Sixt before the river flows through the picturesque town of Samoens and on down eventually to meet up with the Rhone.
Besides the playground of the river there is the beautifully clear Lac Bleu (with its own beach) to sunbathe and numerous paths up through the mountains to walk or mountain bike.
Morillon and the Grand Massif are a skiers paridise in the winter. With over 265 km of pistes, the ski area caters for all abilities. Morillon 1100 has its own ski school and the resort is particularly child friendly as everything is close by.

Budget airlines such as Easyjet and Flybe fly to Geneva or alternatively Chambery (100kms) from many regional as well as international airports.

If hiring a car make sure you hire from the Swiss (as opposed to the French) side of Geneva airport. The journey takes approx. 1 hour by car.

The resort is self contained so in the winter you don't necessarily need a car to get around - you could get a ski transfer service from www.ski-lifts.com

“Great Apartment, right opn the slopes” Great apartment, fully equipped, comfortable and cosy. Very convenient for ski in and ski out, close to ski hire and supermarket. Loved it. Morrillon1100 is a quiet little resort but still has some good restaurants and bars. Very good for children and some great slopes for beginners, certainly one of the best places to learn in the alps and still some great runs for the more experienced. If you are going to Morrillon I reckon you would be hard pushed to find a better place to stay.

“Fabulous accomodation and skiing.” We were a party of eight (four adults& four teenagers). The apartment was excellent for space, the coin montagne especially good for the teenagers, allowing them to have their own comfy area to watch dvds and listen to music. It was well furnished and comfortable.Position wise it was brilliant for ski in /ski out and two minutes from the ski lifts. The boys were impressed with the fact they could go sledging just outside the apartment. The resort was brilliant, plenty of snow and not too busy. Our party had varying skiing abilities from complete beginners to the accomplished skier, and we found plenty of slopes to suit all.

“Could not be better placed for the slopes” We have spent 2 very enjoyable ski holidays here and are looking forward to our 3rd. The apartment is ideal for our party of 8 (comprising 2 families with teenagers) as it is very comfortable with plenty of space for the adults & the kids to relax independently. In Les Esserts there are a couple of restaurants, a bakers for fresh croissants each morning (and cakes in the afternoon) and the mini market has everything needed for self-catering. Morillon Village has a larger choice and is easily reached during the day via the telecabine or a 5 minute drive. If necessary there are large supermarkets half an hour away (at most) in the valley. From putting on ski boots to gliding across the piste takes approximately 3 minutes - the apartment block is directly on the slope with a short run down to the closest chairlift. The only minus point is the lack of decent TV reception or wifi but this is a small price to pay for such a great location.
