New for winter 2008. Samoens Lofts are two luxury apartments each sleeping 8/10 people in 4/5 bedrooms. Situated in an elevated position above Samoens, they offer stunning views of the village and mountains beyond. This is a self catered property, although should you wish, we can offer our flexible catering in the apartment. They both offer spacious and luxurious chalet style living and are finished to exceptional standards throughout, they are positioned over the entire upper two floors of this stunning property. Each is split level with two double bedrooms, two twin bedrooms and two stylish bathrooms. Plus a spacious mezzanine area, ideal as a fifth bedroom or second living area with a double sofa bed and TV. The living areas are extremely light and spacious, with flat screen satellite TV's, DVD player and offer open plan living and comfortable dining for 10 people. The accommodation provides quality wooden kitchens, fully equipped with plenty of work space and wonderful extras such as 2 fondue sets and 2 racelette sets in each.
The properties have their own private entrances with ample private parking together with secure underground parking. In addition there are ski lockers and washing and drying facilities.

The Rhone / French Alps / Haute-Savoie region
This spectacular and beautiful area is protected and hence hasn’t been spoilt by tourism. Samoens has been awarded a ‘Coq d’Or’ for being one of the prettiest villages in France and is the only ski resort classified by the Caisse des Monuments Historiques. The area is full of character and charm with stonemasonary and farming at the heart, yet still provides the centre for almost every outdoor activity imaginable.
Based in the stunning valley of the Giffre river, the area provides spectacular scenery including mountain lakes, national parks and botanical gardens plus amazing wildlife. Just minutes up the road at Sixt Fer a Cheval are over a dozen enormous waterfalls. It has a great deal to offer for families and individuals of all ages seeking adventure or alternatively, just sheer relaxation.
Grand Massif / Samoens area
There are numerous excellent restaurants, including bistros, gourmet, traditional French Savoyard and Pizzerias. A range of cafes and bars and numerous shops cater for all your needs, many of which are located around the historic square. There are typical French markets, beautiful churches, chocolatiers, health and beauty parlours, cash points, doctors, chemists, a cinema, an ice skating rink, creche, swimming pools in summer, bakeries, supermarkets and everything else you would expect from well equipped mountain resorts. The Tourist Office puts on various entertainments in the village square ranging from kids' events to antique fairs throughout the year.
How to get there
By Air
We are only 1 hour from Geneva Airport, flights can be booked all year round and cheap fares can be found particularly if booked well in advance.
We are able to organise a transport service from the Airport to the accommodation at a charge of 30 euros each way per person, based on a minimum of 4 passengers.
In addition you can travel by bus by booking through www.altibus.com and the cost is 68 Euros return for adults and 34 Euros return for children.
Alternatively you can hire a car through the following example companies.
With all hire companies, we recommend you collect the car from the Swiss side of Geneva Airport. This is the easiest way to get in and out of the airport. Once you have hired your car, follow for France and you will then go through the border and once through, follow the A40 for Chamonix. You will come to your motorway exit about 40 minutes from leaving the airport.

Further details outdoors: There are large balconies running down the lengh of two sides of the lounge offering plenty of south facing outdoor space, and garden furniture. In addition the chalet is set in its own private grounds with plenty of lawned areas.
