Sougey ski chalet is a beautifully renovated farmhouse in Samoens in the Grand Massif consisting of 3 very spacious self catered apartments. This particular apartment sleeps up to 8 people in 3 bedrooms and a large living room with sofa beds. The second apartment sleeps up to 6 and the lower chalet up to 10.
The property is serviced by the free ski bus which stops right outside the front door and takes guests directly to the Samoens gondola and the huge and undiscovered Grand Massif Ski area.
There is plenty of driveway parking at the chalet.

The Rhone Alps are a beautiful Alpine region of France on the Swiss border, It's most notable for its' fantastic skiing, against the backdrop of Europe's highest mountain - Mont Blanc.
Grand Massif / Samoens area
The Grand Massif is a huge and relatively undiscovered ski area just one hour from Geneva near the Swiss border. It has over 270km of pistes, including a 15km run from Flaine back to Samoens, endless off piste and a very good snow record.
Samoens is a beautiful, listed French alpine town situated at the edge of the Grand Massif ski area, and is linked directly via a new Gondola built in 2002. Though retaining the feel of rural France, Samoens is also a great place for Apres ski with plenty of bars and restaurants open well into the small hours.
In the Summer there is a huge range of activities to choose from - hiking, mountain biking (using the ski lifts!), rafting and paragliding to name a few. The ski lifts throughout the area run from June to September. Views are spectacular over the Mont Blanc ridgeline, and the nature reserve canyon leading to the Swiss border is simply spectacular.
How to get there
Samoens is just an hour from Geneva airport. Easyjet operate cheap flights from many destinations in the Uk to Geneva, and a hire car can be easily booked prior to your arrival. From here simply follow the signs to Chamonix and Mont Blanc until you come by the signs for Samoens and Les Gets.
Chalet Sougey run a transfer service to / from Geneva airport for up to 10 people at a time.
From any of the Northern ports - i.e: Calais, Dieppe, Cherbourg etc, it is a 7 - 9 hour drive to the chalet.

Further details indoors: This apartment is over 2 floors. Downstairs there is a large hallway and prorch for ski gear, a bathroom, separate toilet, very large kitchen and dining area and spacious living room with sky, dvd etc. A large balcony is accessible from the living room overlooking the river Giffre which runs through Samoens.
Upstairs there is a double room with balcony, 1 bunk room, and 1 twin room. 2 sofa beds in the living room can be used.
There's plenty of secure driveway parking.
Please note towels are not provided.
Further details outdoors: There is a secluded decking area behind the chalet with bbq and bike washing area - can be used by anyone staying at the chalet. There's also a terrace area with outdoor seating in front of the chalet. Mountain bikes are available for hire during the summer.
