The rental apartment 55 m2 provides the following:
Kitchen - is well fitted and equipped with a dishwasher, fridge and full sized oven and separate hob. The solid pine table seats 6 comfortably.
Living area - a well furnished and attractive living area with a large balcony. There is a three seater sofa which converts to a double bed with mattress, matching two seater sofa, pine display and storage cabinet, pine coffee table, a 51cm TV connected to satellite for UK TV programs and DVD with extensive film library.
Bedroom 1 - has a pine double bed with large pull out drawers underneath, fitted to the side of the bed are two pine wardrobes with five overhead pine cupboards giving lots of storage.
Bedroom 2 - has adult sized pine bunk beds with pull out drawers, plus two pine chests of drawers and an armchair.
Bathroom - has a bath with shower and a large vanity cupboard.

The Les Carroz d'Araches village sporting amenities are within 200 m of the apartment, including 3 outdoor swimming pools, archery, tennis courts, horse riding, indoor sports hall for basketball, football, table tennis, badminton etc. The balcony looks out onto beautiful mountain scenery and is provided with chairs and a table for casual breakfasts and relaxation. Car parking is directly adjacent to the apartment and there is plenty of outside space to park up mountain bikes.

Swimming pools, tennis courts and archery only open during the summer. In winter, there is alpine skiing and snowboarding from beginner to advanced offering 134 pistes, covering 265 km with the highest point being 2500 m; cross country and telemark skiing; snow shoeing, snow mobiling, ice-skating and dog-sledding.
In summer, you can go mountain climbing, play tennis, white-water rafting, mountain-biking, VTT, fishing, horse and pony riding at the nearby village riding school, archery, canyoning, paragliding, hot-air ballooning, hydrospeed, hiking, rambling, mini golf, and there is a full 18 hole golf course at nearby Flaine or Chamonix,
For walkers you can discover 200 km of marked paths all over the Grand Massif area, from gentle walks through alpine meadows and forests to invigorating climbs. The long distance footpaths including the GR 96 and GR 5 can be walked in the region. The GR 96 can be accessed a short distance from the apartment.

Les Carroz d'Araches is a traditional French Alps village, one of the 5 linked resorts that make up the Grand Massif (Flaine, Samoens, Morillon and Sixt fer Cheval being the other 4) there is an abundance of high quality skiing right on your doorstep with 265 km of pistes on offer making this area the 3rd largest resort in France.
Apart from being one of the most snow sure regions in the French Alps with an excellent snow record and skiing and snowboarding to suit all levels, Les Carroz d'Araches also benefits from its prime location, just 45 minutes from Geneva and 30 minutes from Chamonix. The beautiful town of Annecy with its wonderful lake and beaches is only 40 minutes away, which is a great place to visit.

Les Carroz d’Araches is a charming traditional French Alps village. It is a spacious, sunny family resort where life still revolves around the village square with its pavement cafes and interesting little shops, with a village market every Tuesday. Thre are a good range of restaurants from creperies to traditional Savoyard cooking.
It has the lived in feel of a real French village which remains open all year round offering fantastic winter skiing and a working traditional alpine village with an array of mountain activities in beautiful countryside for the summer.

Catherine, many thanks for a fabulous holiday in your lovely apartment, which was even better than the web site description - especially the view from the balcony. The chalet was probably one of the nicest we have stayed in for a long time. Les Carroz was the perfect base for hiking and we enjoyed using the outdoor swimming pool which was just few minutes walk away. We all really enjoyed our holiday, we found Les Carroz very family friendly and plenty to do. There were lots of restaurants to choose from and a good few bars that had friendly atmosphere. The skiing was great and had many runs to cater for all levels. There was easy access via the ski bus or parking at the base of the slopes. The apartment had everything we wanted, it was warm and comfortable, had great views, and a pleasure to return to after a hard days skiing, and we would definitely recommend it to others.
