Alpine chalet first floor apartment in the prestigious MGM development which is superbly located in the centre of the alpine village of Les Carroz. The apartment is beautifully furnished in alpine style, well equipped and sleeps up to 5 people in two bedrooms, one twin room, one double room and sofa bed. Enjoy the wonderful mountain view from the spacious, sunny wraparound balcony equipped with wooden table and chairs for 'al fresco' dining. Les Carroz is a traditional alpine village only 50 mins from Geneva Airport and part of the fabulous Grand Massif ski area. Only a few steps away from the shops, bars, restaurants and all the amenities you would expect from a first class ski resort.

The Rhone / French Alps / Haute-Savoie region

This alpine region is full of plenty of places to visit and things to do - Chamonix, Lake Annecy, Lake Geneva etc are within 1 hr drive.
During the summer months temperatures can rise to 40 degrees + and the white snow capped mountains turn into a summer playground with activities such as horse riding, rafting, walking, hiking, mountain biking, road biking, shister biking, via ferrata walking or just relaxing in the sunshine.

The Grand Massif / Les Carroz d'Araches area

The delightful alpine ski resort of Les Carroz is a hidden gem for many reasons. It is located only 50 mins from Geneva with an easy route to the village. The ski area offers a fabulous 265 km of piste for all levels of skiers and snowboarders and amongst one of the treasures of this area is the magnificent 360 degree views of Mont Blanc.

The Grand Massif ski area consists of 5 villages, Morillon, historic Samoens, Sixt fer a Cheval, Les Carroz and the high altitude resort of Flaine. All areas are linked and are easily accessible from the main telecabine of Les Carroz. As a non-skier the area offers day trips to Chamonix, Annecy and lake Geneva which are all within an hours drive of Les Carroz. Also within the village of Les Carroz there are many restaurants with sunny terraces to enjoy the winter sun over a drink and watch the world go by. There is also snow shoeing, shopping, cinema, ice rink and lots of activities throughout the season.

“Perfect” We had a great time, the apartment is perfect for 2 adults and 2 children. Full of appliances (stereo, tv, washing machine..) and really pretty and neat. We will be back next year hopefully!!

“Liked it that much have re-booked for 2013” Perfect location for our first ski trip, in the centre, near all amenities, including the free ski bus, which was just a short walk away. Apartments had everything we needed for our weeks stay and Sue was very accommodating with questions we had before our holiday. We loved the village, the skiing and of course the après ski!! We liked it that much we have re-booked for 2013. Thank you.

“Ideally located and very well equipped” The apartment is very well located close to the center of the village, which is 3 minutes away from the slopes by car. A "supérette" is conveniently located below the building. It included the covered parking slot. The apartment is very well equipped and suits perfectly a family of 4. Finally the rental price includes the cleaning at the end of the stay.

“Peace, tranquility, fantastic views from a great apartment that has it all.” The holiday was great from start to finish. Mr & Mrs Lewis ( Gavin & Susan as they became better known to us) could not have been more helpful. Their attention to every detail was so impressive and reminded me of old fashioned courtesies that are so sadly lacking else where in life today. The apartment was spotless and so inviting on our arrival which was made so much easier by their detailed directions of how to get there to start with. They ensured we had everything we needed and were always available with advice and tips of how to get the best out of our stay as they have an extensive knowledge of the area and all it's facilities. Thanks to them we were able to visit some wonderful nearby places with spectacular scenery which was the whole purpose of the trip and to find great eating places. The holiday was so good we can't wait to go back again asap

“Really nice apartment - would definitely go again.” Four of us spent 4 days at Les Cristallieres and really enjoyed it. The apartment is very close to the centre of Les Carroz - 2 minutes walk to the village square and ski bus stop (5 min bus ride to the main ski station). It is quiet and very well equipped - 2 good size bedrooms and lounge/kitchenette. Bathroom is good also with bath and shower head. There is also a very large balcony which is great for a sunny breakfast to start the day. Les Carroz is a great ski base - we have visited before and aswell as linking easily into Flaine, there is plenty of really good skiing on the doorstep - you don't need to buy the Grand Massif pass to enjoy yourself for a weekend !
