Chalet Ruby is a 4 bedrooms ski chalet ( around 250m2 ), ideally located just at 5 minutes walk from the ski lift (or a 1 minute drive with free parking) that takes you up to the slopes in no time at all.
Mixing both modern and traditional styles Chalet Ruby has everything you need for a great ski holiday.
Two bedrooms are en suite the other two sharing a luxury bathroom. The lounge has a wood burning stove, TV with surround sound and a DVD player with a wide movie selection.

The Rhone / French Alps / Haute-Savoie region
Haute Savoie is a part of Rhone Alpes and borders Switzerland and Italy.
Haute Savoie is very famous to all with the Mont Blanc, highest mountain in Europe at 4810 metres, and all the ski resorts in the north Alps. But it's not just tourism, Haute Savoie is also a main European motorway between Geneva and Mont Blanc tunnel.
Annecy, the Valley of Arve, Frontier zone and the valley of Leman are the main economic hotspots.
The Climate is cold and snowy in winter and sweet and stormy in summer.
The Grand Massif / Samoens area
Samoens is a village situated at 720 meters altitude in the north Alps. The ski resort start at 1600 m til 2500 meters.
Samoens is the only "historically listed" ski resort in France, due to the beauty of its medieval architecture. It has been officially recognised as one of the prettiest villages in France. The access of the village is fairly direct from Geneva airport (50 minutes).
The Grand Massif is the ski area grouping 5 villages : Flaine, Les Carroz, Samoens Morillon and Sixt. The grand Massif offer 265 km of slopes. The equipment in Samoens are new with a cable cabine and a 8 chair lift.
There is a big free car park or a free skibus, stop in different area in the village.
In winter, if you don't ski, you can do snow walking, cross country ski, ice skating, visiting our historic village with a guide. In summer swimming pool, tennis, rafting, paragliding, mountain walking, climbing, biking will be your activities.

By Road from Geneva:
- Follow the A40 Motorway to France. Exit at Junction 18, Signposted Cluses.
- Travel through Cluses, following signs for Taninges/Chatillon.
- Approximately 2km after passing Chatillon, the road bends and splits. Turn right, signposted Samoens.
- Continue on this road, through the village of Morillon.
- At the end of the road, turn left, after the bridge over Giffre River.
