About the home

Chalet Alpage is a duplex apt. forming part of an MGM development. The apartment is in a great position being only 25 m from the ski bus stop and 100m from the sports / swimming complex in the summer.
It has 3 bedrooms, a double with en-suite shower/washbasin on the first floor and 2 bedrooms on the upper floor. both are twin rooms and the larger has a pull out bed if required.
There is a full bathroom with wc plus a separate wc.
There is a fully equipped kitchen inc. microwave, full sized oven, hob and dishwasher

South facing balcony with great mountain views
The secure ski locker is just outside the front door and the free ski bus stops 30 m from your door.

It's just a 7 min flat walk to the centre of the village with it's supermarkets bars and restaurants
There is a free ski bus every 15-20 mins in the winter season

The French Alps live up to their reputation as one of the worlds prime tourist destinations with fantastic snow in winter and fabulous scenery in summer and all overlayed with French culture with it's love of good food and wine and only a couple of hours from the UK

The Grand Massif / Les Carroz d'Araches area

Winter.
Les Carroz is one of the oldest ski resorts in France and altough it has been developed over the years it retains a true mountain village atmosphere. The skiing is superb for all ages and standards being one of the best places you will find to begin, with some great confidence boosting runs like the 5 K, green, Marvel run, up to some of the least skied out powder anywhere in the Alps. All of this is helped by having the outstanding snow record of the Grand Massif, many years with over 5 meters at the top and normally good snow to return to the village until the end of April.
The village is very family orientated with 2 kids clubs fordiffering age groups and very good ski schools.
Summer
Les Carroz makes an ideal centre to explore the Savoie region being only 1 hour from Chamonix, Geneva or Annecy and with some of the finest walking, cycling and scenery
