Chalet Calluna is a traditional wooden chalet which has been fully modernised in the last 2 years. All our bedrooms are en-suite with new bathrooms and all have a mountain view. You eat and relax in our spacious lounge, dining area with its large windows highlighting the fantastic mountain views and big log fire to keep you cosy, or ease the muscles in our outdoor spa with mountains all around. Breakfast is continental style with a hot dish each day, afternoon tea with home baking and our superb 5 course dinner is seved after kir royales and canapes In Summer we offer many different courses in painting, beadwork and lacemaking

The French Alps live up to their reputation as one of the worlds prime tourist destinations with fantastic snow in winter and fabulous scenery in summer and all overlayed with French culture with it's love of good food and wine and only a couple of hours from the UK
Grand Massif / Les Carroz area
Winter. Les Carroz is one of the oldest ski resorts in France and altough it has been developed over the years it retains a true mountain village atmosphere. The skiing is superb for all ages and standards being one of the best places you will find to begin, with some great confidence boosting runs like the 5 K, green, Marvel run, up to some of the least skied out powder anywhere in the Alps. All of this is helped by having the outstanding snow record of the Grand Massif, many years with over 5 meters at the top and normally good snow to return to the village until the end of April. The village is very family orientated with 2 kids clubs fordiffering age groups and very good ski schools. Summer Les Carroz makes an ideal centre to explore the Savoie region being only 1 hour from Chamonix, Geneva or Annecy and with some of the finest walking, cycling and scenery

Further details indoors: All bedrooms can be either twin OR double and are supplied with towels, fluffy bathrobes, hairdryers and complimentary Arran Aromatic toiletries. There is a large mezzanine which is a secondary lounge or can be used as a twin bedroom, sharing facilities with the adjacent bedroom Our menus are designed in consultaion with a professional chef who works in a Michelin starred restaurant, and we are happy to cover any dietery requirements noted at time of booking. For entertainment we have a flat screen TV with Sky satelite, play station, connections for your own ipod or mp3, DVD player with a selection of DVDs, board games and cards. If you really can't escape altogether we have free wifi broadband internet access
Further details outdoors: We have a large balcony leading to the spa terrace. The spa is available until 7.30 each evening. There is ample private parking. We also have complimentary transport to and from the ski lifts and can arrange private transfers from Geneva airport at 50 Euros per person return. The chalet is a 15min walk to the village centre but we are happy to provide free transport by arrangement
