The town itself has a good selection of bars and restaurants and sightseeing. This is the perfect holiday base for a large group or families that appreciates superb views, delicious food and local culture, good walks and unadulterated peace.

The Costa Tropical/Granada region
Montefrio is on the Route of Washington Irving, which is the historical road that links Malaga, Seville and Granada and has many fascinating walks and is popular with cyclists worldwide. There is also a wealth of landscapes which have a variety of birds and wild flowers for nature enthusiasts. The town itself has a good selection of bars and restaurants and 2 swing parks. There is also a local lido with restaurant for a fun day locally. The house is ideally situated near to town for local supermarkets and banks and the local 24 hour clinic is a 5 minute drive.
Granada / Montefrio area
Montefrio is nearest village (5km) drive and Granada (45 minutes). Seville, Cordoba, Antequera, Alpujarras and Sierra Nevada are all easily driveable distances.
