Apartment in the center of Albaicin, Moorish house recently restored XV century, located in a listed building of artistic and cultural interest by the Department of Culture of the City of Granada.

The apartment has two bedrooms, with a double bed each one, living room with futon sofa bed, TV and WIFI, kitchen with washing machine, fridge and microwave. Bathroom with bath. Hair dryer, iron and cot on request. (No additional cost).

The building has two landscaped courtyards Grenadian community, hatchback sixteenth century original, being in backyards basements authentic Roman columns found during the excavation carried out in the rehabilitation of the house.

Access by car. It is located in the center of the Albaicin, neighborhood considered by UNESCO World Heritage Humanidad. Three minutes walk from the Mirador de San Nicolas and the Mirador de San Cristobal and 10 minutes walk from the center of Granada. With bus connection to the center of lines 7, F, 31 and 35.

Ideal for families. 30 minutes from Sierra Nevada and 50 minutes from the beach in Motril.

The Andalucia region

Granada

The Albaicin is one of the ancient centers of Muslim Granada. Already in 756, the Arabs of Granada were divided into two districts, the Albaicin and the Alhambra.

The Albaicin is located on the hill which runs between Calle Elvira, Plaza Nueva, the Carrera del Darro, Paseo de los Tristes and Chapiz Slope, Calle San Luis, the Way of San Antonio and San Sidewalk Ildefonso.

The Albaicin still maintains the urban fabric of the Moorish period, with narrow streets, steep and intricate shaped network. At the top of the hill is the Mirador de San Nicolas, where the views of the Alhambra are wonderful.

The traditional type of housing Albaicin is known as Carmen, a house surrounded by a wall that separates it from the street and has a small garden.

The situation of the Albaicin, on top of a hill, always made it a neighborhood a little detached from the city and it was not until the modern era when the neighborhood was truly integrated with the rest of the city.

"Amazing location in the old town"

This apartment had everything we needed for a wonderful stay in Granada. The owner gave us very good instructions to arrive and park in free public parking nearby, then she and her husband very kindly helped us with our bags. The apartment itself was in a wonderful old building, fairly basic furnishings but had everything we needed. Great high pressure shower! We just loved the neighbourhood, the atmosphere was amazing. Highly recommended.

"Ideally located in Albaicin (Moorish district)"

Very nice apartment, well equipped with bath, washing machine, 2 separate bedrooms. Walk to the center (and Alhambra) is around 20 mins with buggy, coming over a lot of cobble stones. The host, Herminia, and her husband were very friendly, and informed us on everything we wanted to know. We had a wonderful stay!

"Excellent choice"

This apartment really made our stay in Granada memorable. The location was important to us and this place fits that criteria. We walked everywhere from here. The apartment was clean and in good order with no surprises. The owner was accommodating, meeting us late when we arrived. She showed us where the stores where and the neighborhood. We will undoubtedly stay here when we return.
