This spacious, comfortable and Air-Conditioned house is situated just ten minutes from Alicante airport on the Costa Blanca Coast and lies within the fabulous area of Gran Alacant.
The Solarium, Balcony and patio areas all overlook a wooded ravine and have spectacular sunset and mountain views.
There is a large communal swimming pool including a Children's pool surrounded by landscaped gardens with gated access only 200 yards away.
Beautiful Carabassi beach is 15 minutes walk or a 3 minute drive away and is one of the most beautiful and safest beaches within the Costa Blanca coastline with several kilometres of soft white sand, backed by dunes, completely unspoilt and boasting a wooden beach hut bar.
In the local area there is an excellent selection of local and international restaurants, bars, shops,banks and supermarkets including a 24 hour shop and an excellent winery and internet shops.
There is so much to see and do, from golf, tennis, snorkelling and other water sports, to exploration of the historical sites of the neighbouring towns. There are also a selection of markets within easy reach and only a bus ride away.

The house benefits from 3 separate and comfortable outside areas that all have the advantage of sun and shade throughout the day for your comfort and enjoyment.
All areas have the benefits of a dining table, chairs and parasol that can easily be moved around between the areas to suit your needs.
The Roof Solarium is a large space and is well equipped for the al fresco dining / barbecuing and for enjoying the beautiful and romantic sun sets.
The house is set in a quiet and peaceful location away from the main roads.

The house can sleep up to four people comfortably but six people can be accommodated as there is a king size sofa bed in the lounge also with towels and linen provided.
The swimming pool is open in the summer months, complete with a lifeguard. Outside these dates you have access to the pool, but this is at your own risk.
An Information Pack is provided in the house with instructions for some thorough and useful advice and guidance on appliances, local area information and community rules.
You will be greeted at the house by an English speaking representative who will assist you in getting settled and finding your way around.
Welcome Packs can be provided on arrival at your request for a small charge.
Guests must ensure that they have adequate travel insurance. The owners of the house will not be liable for any damages or loss of items during your stay.
Conditions
Strictly no smoking except on outside areas such as solarium and balcony
A cleaning tariff is payable locally to the English property manager at a rate of €50 (about £45) per booking at the beginning of your holiday.
Refundable breakages/losses deposit of £60 required at booking (subject to satisfactory property inspection)
25% non refundable deposit secures the booking. The remaining balance is to be paid 4 weeks in advance of travel.
5% discount for returning guests.
Deals available for long term winter lets.
Property not ideal for infirm elderly or wheelchair users due to being on three levels.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region


The Costa Blanca area is a fabulous place to holiday or even take a short or long weekend break as the climate here is good all year round with very hot and sunny summers.
Gran Alacant lies just 10 min's form Alicante Airport and 50 mins from Murcia Airport. It is very easy to get to and within easy reach of the main towns of Alicante, Torrevieja and Benidorm.
Alicante has a historical yet cosmopolitan feel with a lovely beach, harbour and promenade with some fantastic bars and restaurants. Here you can find Santa Barbara castle, which is well worth a visit, or spend the day going around the large selection of shops.
Just 5km's away is the traditional Spanish resort of Santa Pola with its long stretches of beautiful sandy beaches and harbour with its lively fishing industry. Fresh fish can be found all over the town's restaurants. There is a coastal road from Gran Alacant to Santa Pola where you will find numerous private spots that are great for fishing.
There are two markets every week here but the Saturday market is great for bargain hunters.
From here you can take an outing to the nearby natural park of Las Salinas and discover the beauty of the salt lakes where you can often see the Flamingos.
There is excellent walking near the Santa Pola lighthouse whose light can be seen most evenings from Gran Alacant.
You can take a boat ride to the lovely island of Tabarca where you will find bars and excellent restaurants. As is to be expected, the most popular and best prepared fish dishes can be eaten here. Short journeys are done on a frequent timetable, depending on the season, and the trip only takes 60 minutes from Alicante and 30 from Santa Pola.
Benidorm is approx 1 hour away and is well known for its lively night-life, theme parks (Terra Mitica, Terra Natural, Aqualandia (Spain's largest water park) and the Mundo Mar marina animal park) and not to mention Benidorm Zoo. Here you will find excursions such as horse riding, a hot air balloon ride, jeep safari and even a day trip to Ibiza and is great for lovers of water sports.
There are a number of championship golf courses within a short drive including the Bonalba golf resort and spa. Only 10 min's away is the nearest 9 hole course.
You can also take a drive up to visit Javea and Denia. Both of these beatuiful and clean towns are well worth visiting for their traditional mountain settings, beautiful beaches and harbour's.
The Gran Alacant / Monte Y Mar area
Gran Alacant is a small urbanisation 10 min's from Alicante Airport and is ideal for families and those wanting a relaxing and enjoyable break .

There is a lovely nature reserve, which is popular for bird watchers, and where many species can be seen at all times of the year. It has BBQ areas which are ideal for peaceful picnics as well as close access to bars and restaurants at the bottom of the hill. All interconnected by an excellent bus service and the Gran Alacant tourist train.
For walkers there are a number of trails in the Nature Park that surrounds Gran Alacant and its beautiful surrounding coastal areas including Los Arenales de Sol. Here you will find miles of sand dunned beaches, cleaned each day with plenty of bars and restaurants.
Car hire is desirable although not essential as the bus service is frequent, cheap and reliable. They go to all the nearby towns as well as around Gran Alacant itself.
Nearest golf course is ten minutes drive.

Cheap flights to Alicante airport are available from over 27 airports throughout the UK with companies such as Ryanair, Easyjet, Monarch, Flybe, BMI and Flyglobespan.
The house is in a wonderful location just a 10 minute drive from the airport. Despite its closeness the house is well away from the flight path.
Pick-up and transport to the house can be arranged if required just to make your holiday even more relaxing.
Many Car hire providers are available within the area- Xtrarentacar are recommended and will meet you at the airport or drop the car off at the house.
Taxi's are available at the airport - fare should be no more than €20. Local buses are frequent and reliable with some airport service running from Gran Alacant and surrounding towns.
Bus stop within 4 minutes walk of the house and connects direct to Santa Pola and Alicante.

My family & I had a fabulous holiday at Casa Helgar. We found the house spacious, clean and modern with amazing sunset views and everything we needed within walking distance. Our children loved the beach and pool where we spent most of our holiday. The tourist train was fab for getting out and about. We enjoyed our stay so much that we have re-booked for May next year so thank you. |

The price is for the whole house, not per person.
Arrival times are after 3pm & Departure by 12pm.
Late departures after 12pm may be available at an extra cost.
In addition there is a cleaning and linen charge of 50 euros, to be paid to the cleaner / key holder.
Upon your arrival she will welcome you at the house and be a source of information.
A Welcome Pack can be arranged for your arrival at the house if requested.
Airport transfers can be arranged at 20 euros each way per car (up to 4 people).
A Refundable Breakages deposit of £60 will be added onto your booking and refunded at the end of your holiday after inspection from the key holder.
25% non-refundable deposit secures the booking. The remaining balance will be due 6 weeks in advance of travel.
Information will be emailed or posted to you when confirming booking.
Payment by cash, cheque, bank transfer or Paypal. Please allow time for clearance.
5% Discount for returning guests
