This air-conditioned townhouse property is located on a modern development, just 10 km.from Alicante airport. It is a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom duplex house that comfortably sleeps from four up to six persons. It is south-facing, overlooking the pool and gardens of the communal square.
The house is finished in typically Spanish style, with living accommodation on two floors, a large front patio/porch area and tiled patio/front terrace for sitting out, and internal stairs to the full sun terrace on the house roof. It is fully furnished and well-equipped throughout, including patio furniture, items for the beach, baby facilities (cot, high chair etc.), and hairdryer.
Ideally located, it is less than 5 minutes' walk to local shops, cafes, bars and reasonably-priced restaurants and less than 2 km by quiet road to the developing modern resort of Las Arenales, with its fine sandy beach and sand-dunes, cafes, restaurants and bars.
The house is just 1 km by car to the large Commercial Centre, with its choice of restaurants, shops, supermarkets and banks. It is also only 10 minutes by car to the larger, more traditional resort of Santa Pola, with its supermarkets, shops and seafront facilities.

The large lounge/dining room is airy and well-ventilated, with easy access to the front porch and outside front terrace/patio area. It has a large air-conditioning unit (cold and warm-air), as well as oil-filled heating units for use at cooler times of the year.
The kitchen is well-equipped and has a useful serving hatch to the lounge/dining room. There is also a rear door for access to the small outside galleria area, for the storage of beach items etc.
The house is complete with microwave, washing machine, drying facilities, ironing board and iron, large wall-mounted flatscreen television, DVD player and radio/CD. There is a small stock of DVDs and books for your use as well as indoor games.
The main bathroom is located on the first floor; there is a further shower room, with washbasin and WC, on the groundfloor to the rear.
The two bedrooms, with access to a small balcony from the main bedroom, face toward the gardens and pool. Each bedroom is well-equipped, with double wardrobes, a chest of drawers each, and drawered bedside tables with small bedside lamps. The bedrooms benefit from having large cooling ceiling fans, as well as cold-air air-conditioning units. There are electric fan heaters for use at cooler times of the year.

We provide patio furniture (table, chairs, recliners, parasols) for use on both the solarium/roof terrace and for use on the main front terrace; there are chairs and a small table for use on the smaller, main-bedroom terrace too, and a cafe/bistro table and chair set for use on the covered front-porch.
We provide small BBQs to use on either the main front terrace or roof terrace, from which there is an excellent view over the gardens and pool area of the communal square. We also provide facilities/toys etc for visits to the beach and to the countryside for picnics, inc. a coolbox and outdoor crockery/cutlery for your use.
The attractive pool and gardens are opposite the property with key-controlled access. The pool/gardens are maintained on a daily basis; there are shade umbrella-parasols, attractive grass areas, fresh showers and a shallower small kiddies pool adjoining the large main pool.
We require a deposit of 30% on booking, with the balance payable within 6 weeks of arrival. We also ask for a £200/€250 security/keys/breakages deposit as a separate payment with the balance payable, which is held until 2 weeks following return from the property.
The weekly price is for the property up to its recommended maximum capacity, with a daily rate at 1/7th of this for additional/fewer days; changeover is normally Saturday, but can vary, subject to agreement, according to your travel plans and property availability. We offer a discount of 10% for two-week bookings where no additional cleaning service is required.
The price is inclusive of a Welcome Pack of essentials on arrival (tea, coffee, milk, cereal, biscuits, bottled water, household items), and household towels, bed linen according to the number of persons staying, and pre-arrival preparation. Our English-speaking caretaker/keyholder lives nearby and looks after the property. Laundry/cleaning on departure is at an additional cost of €60, payable locally to the caretaker/keyholder.

The Costa Blanca/Valencia region
The property is located on a recent development that is just two minutes drive inland from the sand dunes and many kilometres of beaches at the small, modern resorts of Los Arenales and El Altet.
The climate is always warm, becoming very hot in the summer months (typically 35C), and a pleasant 10-15C in winter. It usually rains only in late Autumn and early Spring, with sunshine on at least 320 days in the year.
The development comprises many different settings in mostly Spanish style, set on a hillside with views looking inland across the fertile valley around Alicante to the distant hills.
It is fifteen minutes drive from the outskirts of the older, busier resort of Alicante, and the airport is conveniently only ten minutes away. There is no need for a car as a taxi is only €15-20 and local shops, restaurants/bars and the beach are all within walking distance.
There is also a local bus service, serving the larger shops at the Commercial Centre, to Alicante and Santa Pola with their larger selection of shops, restaurants/bars and beaches. There are boat services and fishing trips from Santa Pola out to the local island of Tabarca, with attractions at Elche (Safari Park, Palm Gardens), Benidorm (Terra Mitica, Aqualand) and many smaller resorts both up and down the coastline.
