About the home

The house is situated in Gran Alacant on a lovely Andalusian style complex called Don Pueblo. The house is directly opposite the stunning communal swimming pool area which has well maintained gardens. It is furnished to a high standard and has everything you could expect from your “home from home”.

Within walking distance of the house you can find a variety restaurants, that cater for all tastes such as Spanish, Italian, Chinese, Mexican, Indian and British. Also there are several bars that offer everything from live music & quiz nights to sports TV. There are banks with cash points and shops within a few minutes walk of the house. Gran Alacant has a street market on a Thursday morning, selling everything from fruit and vegetables, handbags to clothes.

You can drive to the nearest beach in approximately 5 minutes, or a 20 minute walk – but be mindful as there are a few steep hills when walking back up. If you do not fancy the walk there is a beach bus that's run regularly throughout the peak season. During the summer months there are beach bars along the beach which are open until late, so you are able to enjoy a relaxed evening in a beautiful setting.

The house is located in Gran Alacant which is a suburb of Alicante, on the sun soaked region of Costa Blanca. Only a fifteen minute drive from the house is Alicante, it is the capital of the Costa Blanca and is the second largest city in the Valencian region, and is surrounded by mountainous terrain well as beautiful white beaches.

With over 320 days of sunshine per year and only a 15 minute drive from Alicante Airport makes Gran Alacant an ideal destination for your holiday or even a long weekend away.

The Gran Alacant / Don Pueblo area

Alicante Weather - The weather in Alicante is well known for a very mild climate. The humidity is low and is especially good for sufferers of arthritis.

Covered in the north by small hills and further north by high mountains (about 1600 m high), the area keeps the Alicante weather in a kind of microclimate. This limits the rainy days to just about 20 per year.

The average temperature even in winter time does not fall below 16°C.

“Fantastic villa, great pool, tennis and football for the kids. home from home.” Great place, plenty of space, some great restaurants and bars nearby. great pool. Football and tennis for the kids. Only 15 mins from the airport. really good shops nearby for fresh bread and traditional Spanish butcher. Excellent value. Been here 4 times!
