About the home

A great base from which to enjoy a quiet or action packed holiday.

The house has 2 bedrooms with fitted wardrobes and bed side table and lamps. The master bedroom has its own private balcony. The bedrooms are on the first floor with a fully fitted bathroom including full sized bath with over shower. On the ground floor you will find a fully equipped kitchen, 1/2 bathroom, an open plan living and dining room. Internal stairs take you from the first floor onto a spacious sun terrace on the roof. The front terrace is fully tiled and can provide an al fresco eating area as garden furniture is also provided in the property.

The communal pool is a short walk away, in its gated enclosure the pool has a grassed area, 2 WC's. The pool itself has a separate children's section. Safety and privacy is ensured by the key fob entraces systems. There is also a life guard on duty in the summer months. Kids can enjoy playing the PS2 that is in the property with its many games.

Shops, bars , restaurants, pharmacy, supermarket, internet cafe, banks are all within easy walking distance of the property

There are 4 steps into the property, therfore anyone with mobility problems will have to be aided. However once inside all faciltiies , 1/2 bathroom including wash basin and WC, kitchen, double sofabed are on hand to allow a comfortable area for someone with restricted mobility.

The roof terrace has excellent views of Alicante and the surrouding mountains. There are 4 sun loungers where you can take time out to relax in private or take in the breathtaking scenery sitting on one of the 6 chairs under the shade of the parasol awaiting your lunch from the barbecue. The sunsets over the mountains are breathtaking from the roof terrace

There are clothes dryers to be used outside with the property if required.

Conditions

£100 deposit secures the property for your holiday.
£100 refundable damage deposit , returned on completion of an inspection of the property
Full payment 6 weeks before you depart.

A cleaning fee of 40 euros is taken on top of the rental fee, this is payable to the key holder in Spain. This is for cleaning when you leave. There are no cleaning / bedding changes/ towel changes during your stay

***You are expected to do your own laundry for bedding and towels if required during your stay. A fee will be taken from the damage deposit if extra housekeeping is required at the end of your stay***
***You are also expected to tidy the house before you leave. Remove all rubbish and dispose of it.Again failure to do so will affect the amount of bond you get back***
Long term rentals will be negotiable on request.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

The Costa Blanca is world famous for its sandy white beaches and micro climate which is arguably renowned for being one of the healthiest places in the world to live. The cities of Valencia and Alicante have a cosmopolitan vibe which spreads widely through the Costa. You will still find an abundance of old Spanish villages both on the coast and inland which are accessible by car. Alicante is a deep port which provides a regular stop for the ocean liners which cruise the Med. Benidorm supplies a very lively night life scene, with its many bars and clubs. As in other areas of Spain, golf is very prominent in the costa and there are several top class courses to choose from. The Costa has many "green" areas where walking enthusiates can take in the natural beauty.

The Gran Alacant / Monte Y Mar area

Gran Alacant is situated just 10 minute drive from Alicante airport. The town has all of the local amenities needed for a relaxing holiday, but can also provide an excellent base for the more adventurous. There is a local Thursday market, which sells locally grown produce, clothes and household items. Supermarkets , banks, pharmacies, medical centre,shops , bars and restaurants are all within walking distance.

The spanish seaside resort of Santa Pola is only 10 minutes south and can be reached by car, bus or taxi. Santa Pola carries on the tradition of white sandy beaches, top class fish restaurants. The secluded island of Tabarca can be reached by boat from the Marina. There are several boat trips available from ther marina. You and the kids can also spend quality time in Santa Pola Park. The park caters for all ages, rides , sideshows and games for the kids. The parents and their parents can relax in the al freso restaurants and bars. The park is free entrance.

In easy reach is Elche Zoo, which has a wide variety of animals and fish. The zoo has a pool with water slide so you can cool off after a trip around the zoo.

Great deals can be found flying to both airports. Easyjet, Flybe, Jet2, First Choice, British Airways, Thomson, Monarch, MyTravel, Ryanair, BMI and BMI Baby all fly into this area.

Airport pick ups can be arranged on request and cost around 20 euros each way

Car hire is also easy with all the major rental firms available form the airport. Record car rental is always competitively priced or you could try www.email-car-hire.co.uk. It is advisable to pre book your vehicle before flying out.
