Should you decide, however, to venture further a field, magnificent beaches are only 1.8 kilometres away, Alicante is15 minutes by car, Benidorm is a 30 minute drive, the theme park Terra Mitica and the aqua park is only 30 minutes and historical villages are only a short drive away.

The general layout of the property makes it ideal for couples or families. The basement area with natural lighting, its own seating and dining and television area means that different couples can have their privacy. The basement is also ideal for teenagers who want to do their "own thing". The solarium is very private and is ideal for dining or sunbathing. All the fixtures and fittings are of a high standard and the house generally has the feel of a high quality hotel.
The lovely double patio area to the front of the property is ideal for dining al fresco and sunbathing. It is surrounded by a variety of beautiful flowers and trees. Should you wish take a dip, the pool is only a few steps away but is surrounded by a small wall and gates to ensure the safety of young children. The community is gated enabling parents to relax in this calm and serene environment.
If families with younger children wish to stay at the property, a travel cot, high chair and 2 child safety gates can be made available. Should you however think of anything we have missed, just let us know.

As previously mentioned the community is gated, a number of sets of keys can be provided.
The house is only a very short walk from, banks, cafes, and restaurants. There are numerous supermarkets in the vicinity that sell a great many of the English brands. There are chemists and a health clinic very close to hand.
Should you decide that you do not wish to hire a car, our key holder will run you to supermarkets etc. for a small fee. There is a local taxi service and a regular bus service.
Flexible bookings can be made and changeovers can take place during the week. Short stays can be arranged and all cleaning , bedding and towels are included in the price. Welcome packs and pick ups from the airport can be arranged. We can also offer a two centre holiday at our superb town house on Polairs World La Torre Golf Resort , Murcia region. We operate a total non smoking policy inside the property, should you however wish to smoke on the patios etc. that is fine.
A 25% deposit is required at the time of booking and the holiday must be paid for in full 2 weeks prior to departure. A refundable deposit of £200 needs to be paid with the final payment. This will be refunded within 2 weeks after your holiday once the property has been inspected by the key holder.
Should you cancel the 25% deposit is non refundable, if however you wish to change the dates of your stay we will endeavour to accommodate you and use the deposit for the new booking.
The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
Alicante is the second largest city in the Valencia region. It is surrounded by mountainous terrain as well as beautiful beaches. The city of Alicante has a fantastic marina, theatres, cinema, restaurants and bars. It seems to be the city of festivals. It is vibrant. A beautiful beach can be found in the centre of Alicante with various beach bars and restaurants. A direct bus route to Alicante centre stops outside the Don Pueblo complex and runs particularly at the week ends, into the early hours of the morning.
The old town of Alicante is well worth a visit. The new shopping complexes are also very interesting. A bowling alley can be found in Alicante and particularly during the summer month's children's play areas can be found at the side of the marina.
Numerous artisan stalls can be found in Alicante and a visit on a Sunday afternoon is well worth your while.
The Gran Alacant / Don Pueblo area
Alicante marina, the old town and the new town are well worth a visit.
Many restaurants and bars, shopping facilities and banks. A stones throw from everything yet an extremely peaceful and relaxing complex.
Bike hire is a good idea, and is available just around the corner.

When leaving the airport follow the signs for Alicante. The airport and construction area of its new terminal is on your right. The road forks off to the right and is sign posted Santa Pola, this is the N332. Follow this road through a tunnel. Approximately 5 minutes along this road you will see on the left a Repsol garage and on the right the turning for Gran Alicant.
Take this turning going over the bridge that crosses the N332. Follow the road up the hill, carry on up the hill at the first large roundabout, keep on going up the hill to the next roundabout here you turn right. A few hundred yards on the right you will see a BBVA bank, turn right here onto Calle de Monte de Santa Pola. At the top of this road before going round the bend park on either the left or right and enter the complex Don Pueblo phase 3 via the side gate. Once in the complex turn left, then first right you will see the pool No. 294 is on the left (cant be missed just look for all the beautiful flowers)
Lifts can be arranged to and from the airport. A taxi will charge approximately 20 euros. A huge selection of car hire companies is available at the airport. A web site we use is doyouspain.com. You can book your car and pay on arrival. Should you wish to hire a car after your arrival there are a number of companies only a short walk away.
Most of the budget airlines fly into Alicante, Easyjet, Jet2, Ryanair, Monarch,BMI Baby are to name but a few.
Murcia San Javier airport is also only approximately 45 minutes by car, again Jet2, and Ryanair fly in to this airport.

We are a family of 5, with two young children aged 3 and 5 and a 15 year old. Location is lovely right opposite the pool, the weather was great so that helps. The house was clean and tidy and served our purpose. We made use of the front terrace at meal times overlooking the pool area which was lovely.
The owner Justine is a pleasure to deal with and I have no hesitation in recommending her and the house to anyone, in fact my in-laws are staying there in July, so that is a strong recommendation!

This holiday let was recommended to my wife and I by our friends, it was our very first visit and we were'nt disappointed, the property is a good size and comes with all the creature comforts including satellite TV. air con. and very comfortable beds.The local supermarket which is a stones throw away offers everything you could possibly need at reasonable prices. The butchers shop next to the supermarket offers spit roasted chicken to order, again very reasonably priced.
There are cafe's and bars a short walk away and also a little road train which tours the area, you can hop off any where you please then back on again on its return with the same ticket, great value and children love it. Should you wish to venture further there are buses which will take you to Alicante. As stated, this was our very first visit and we have already booked again for 2013. The owner is so accommodating, kind and helpful.

We have returned to this house many times and we are still in love with it. The owner is delightful and extremely helpful and on arrival the key holder waits at the entrance to the complex and even helps with our bags that's what I call good service. There are plenty of bars / cafes / restaurants within a few minutes walking distance and the adjacent Life Resort complex has a supermarket and a butcher. The local Thursday market has grown since we first came to Gran Alacant and we've been told that it is moving to a new location even closer to this house. Will be back again soon.
