A large four bedroom detached villa with large basement area made into a family area with sleeping for four and games room with pool table, table tennis, bicycles and lots more and if you're up for it....a punchbag. There is also a sofa bed for seating or sleeping another two people. The aircon system is built in and is controlled by separate controllers for the entire ground floor and first floor. The basement area has an individual aircon unit.

Access is via double locking gates or a remote controlled electric gate. There is double glazing throughout, grills on all windows and doors. Shutters throughout for security and heat management and a house alarm.

On entering the property you are in a small hallway which has access on the left to a large open plan lounge and dining area. The lounge features a log fire, with corner suite and leather sofa, which converts to a bed. The dining table is set for 6 though does extend and will seat up to ten. There is a large sideboard full of additional glasses and tableware. There is a 42 inch TV screen with satellite TV featuring various UK channels, a DVD Player and plenty of books including a Spanish phrasebook!

Additionally there is a secure internet via WiFi or cable which can be used for Skype calls etc.

The large kitchen area is fully equipped with everything for you to have a fantastic holiday; there is a folding table and four chairs as well as a Gas Hob, Electric Oven, Kettle, Toaster, Microwave, Fridge Freezer, Dishwasher etc. The kitchen is fully stocked with crockery and cutlery and plenty of plastic crockery/cutlery for outdoor eating.

At the rear of the kitchen is a laundry area with washing machine, cooler bags for the beach! Shopping basket/trolley for shopping so you do not have to carry heavy bags from the shops!

Also from the front hallway there is a ground floor toilet and the fourth bedroom.

This features a single bed, with pull out bed underneath, which can be made up as a twin room, or a king-size room with wardrobes and drawers.

You then have the stairway to the first floor and a further three double bedrooms, one with en-suite bathroom and a shower room.

The master bedroom with king size bed and en-suite bathroom with bath and shower over, also features patio doors with access to terraced area which has a table and chairs, with great views over the private garden, the communal area and pool. This bedroom has two double sliding wardrobes, each with drawers inside, as well as a separate chest of drawers. Additionally there is a fabulous leather massaging lounger chair with foot rest, along with a Television and media player able to take USB inputs DVD/DivX/Mpeg4 as well as the radio.

Bedroom two features a double bed with wardrobe and drawers.

The third bedroom has twin single beds, wardrobe and drawers and access to a small terraced area to the front of the house with views over to the mountains and commercial area.

In between the master and second bedroom there is a separate shower room with shower cubicle.

The basement is accessed from the hallway with stairs leading down to a large open area. This has been turned into a games room with the pool/snooker table and various size cues, a table tennis table with bats, a mini gym and various other outdoor sports equipment, including bikes, tennis rackets and balls, cricket bats and balls, paddling pools etc. Plenty to keep everyone occupied, inside or out. There is also everything that you may need to take to the beach with you, including chairs, mats, parasols, sand castle building toys, small surf boards etc.

Access to the patio and garden is from the lounge, with a patio table and six chairs for al fresco dining.

The garden was designed by the owners and grown from 'scratch'. It has plenty of interesting plants and shrubs including Grapevine, Lemon Tree, Pepper Tree, Jasmine, Bird of Paradise, bougainvillea, Rosemary, various palms and succulents. Centre piece is a 300+ year old Olive tree.

A range of garden furniture for relaxing.. The garden has artificial grass throughout. One entire side of the garden has cricket netting so you can 'hit away' without fear of losing a ball!

There's an outdoor shower near the front door to clean off after those visits to the beach.

Access to the communal area is through a gate at the bottom of the garden. This leads to a large freeform outdoor pool, with fountains, bridge and a Jacuzzi built in. Children's pool attached to this. The gardens have plenty of areas to sunbathe, with shady trees and parasols. Children's play area with slide etc.

There is a Solarium at the top with 360 degree view around the community and surrounding areas. For star gazers, there's also a telescope.

The Valenciana region

Known for its fantastic climate and dry weather the Costa Blanca is a great place to holiday. Gran Alacant is situated on the hillside between the cities of Alicante and Santa Pola. Just a 10 minute drive from Alicante airport. Alicante is a ten minute drive in one direction and has a good lively night life.

The beautiful quaint fishing port of Santa Pola is just 5kms drive in the opposite direction. Santa Pola has a large market with a vast variety of foods and good available and takes place on Saturday and Monday mornings. You can take the coast road along the Carrabassi beach into Santa Pola which runs from the bottom of the hill at Gran Alacant into the town and take a glass bottom boat ride to the island of Tarbarca.

Benidorm is approx 1 hours drive north or you can take the train or bus if you do not drive. The lively nightlife and its many attractions which include Terra Mitica, Mundomar, Terra Nature are among a few. Gran A|acant itself , has a large selection of bars and restaurants catering to all taste and nationalities and several large supermarkets within walking distance where you can purchase beer and wine for relaxing on the terrace and soaking up the sun.

Gran Alacant

There is a weekly market on Thursday morning just a short train ride from the house, where you can pick up fresh local fruit and vegetables.

The Caribassi beach, has fabulous sand dunes and stretches for miles, with plenty of free parking.

For the nature lovers there is the Clot de Galvany nature reserve where you can stroll through the grass and use the Keeps to take a look at the bird life and there is also a BBQ area

"nice villa but too many restrictions around the pool area"

villa was nice enough but there was lots of the owners personal belongings scattered around the villa. basement area was full of the owners boxes. no air con in basement made it too hot to play pool, … More

I have spoken to the owner about the personal items in the house. They are visiting at xmas to address these issues.

There is aircon in the basement area though this is controlled by an individual switch and is not part of the supply to the main house. I will check and make sure this is in the brochure located in the lounge area for the use of all renters

Regarding the community pool and its rules, I am sorry but I can not change these as they are in place for the safety of the users of the pool.
