Trevenna is a lovely large detached house which has been furnished to a very high standard. The property is located in a quiet lane in the historic village of Grampound. Grampound has a village shop and post office, and a pub which serves good food, both within a few minutes’ walk. Grampound also has a playing field and children’s playground a few minutes’ walk away. Wi Fi Broadband access is available.

The West Country / Cornwall region
Grampound is centrally located in Cornwall, ideally situated for all the well known attractions. The village is about 20 minutes from Newquay and the northern beaches, and 20 minutes from the Roseland peninsula and the southern beaches. The climate in Cornwall is mild and is ideal for family beach holidays. This area of Cornwall has lovely rolling hills leading down to the beachs or to the stunning cliff top views. The climate is generally warm and sunny in the summer Locally there is lots of small villages, lots with traditional cornish pubs serving good food. The Lamplighter restaurant in Probus (5 minutes) has two AA rosettes, and is highly recommended, especially for its local seafood!
Grampound area
Being centrally located in Cornwall, you will easily be able to reach all of the local attractions including: The Eden project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Lands End, the surfing beaches and the Roseland peninsula with its many small pretty beaches and coves. The cathedral town of Truro is 15 minutes away, and has excellent shopping facilities.
How to get there
Grampound is located on the A390 about half way between Truro and St Austell. Mill Lane runs parallel to the river Fal in the centre of the village.

Further details outdoors: The house is set in an elevated but very secluded and private position. The garden is south facing and has old Cornish walls and many trees, shrubs and climbers. The terrace is reached from the kitchen and sitting room through French windows. Outside - garden furniture including large table, large charcoal barbecue, sun loungers, parasol for shade. All of the following is included in the rental: electricity, gas, central heating, free (unguaranteed) wifi internet access, bed linen, towels.

Rental periods run from 4pm on Saturday to 10am the following Saturday. All linen and towels included. Wi -Fi internet broadband access (subject to availability).
Conditions
Reservations can be requested by e-mail or letter. Bookings are confirmed by email or letter, upon reciept of the completed booking form and the booking deposit. Please request a booking form to make a booking. Payments can be made using credit card, paypal or cheque. Cheques must be cleared before the holiday start date. Full payment is required 8 weeks before holiday start date. The security deposit is payable before the holiday start date.
