Welcome to The Kiln. A beautiful newly built dormer bungalow, which has a host of extra facilities which will guarantee a memorable and very relaxing holiday.
This house has a very large open plan living area (600 sq ft) which includes a fully fitted kitchen with counter area, large dining space and a very spacious living area. This room has a south west facing aspect and as a consequence will receive sun light all day long. Under floor heating makes this house really cosy all year round.
To the rear is a mini leisure centre which includes a hot spring jacuzzi, 3 person sauna and gym.

Large down stairs bathroom which has a corner bath, a walk in shower enclosure and a power shower. Double bedroom down stairs adjoining the bathroom. Games room which has an air hockey table and a pool table. All down stairs rooms are accessed by a large, very bright entrance hall. Main bedroom up stairs has a super king size bed (6 ft) and a large en suite with a power shower. There are two more very spacious twin bedrooms which are serviced by a shower room.
Landing area up stairs has a two seater couch with loads of natural light from two roof windows, ideal location to lose yourself in a good book
Further details outdoors:
Paved patio area with charcoal BBQ which is directly outside the french doors leading from the living room.Let your troubles float away in the hot spring jacuzzi which has a total of 23 jets, including moto massage DX jets.
. there is also a motorised tread mill, exercise bike and rowing machine. To the front of the jacuzzi is a paved patio area.
Large lawn area is perfect for children to play and run around.
The property gets its name from of the old stone lime kiln, which dates back more than 100 years, which is also located on the grounds. There are fabulous views of the Blackstairs mountain range.
Further details
English speaking caretaker will meet guests with keys and show the property. Security deposit of a minimum of 150 euro in cash required at arrival, and refunded upon satisfactory inspection at departure.
Please vacate the property before 11.00am on your departure day to facilitate the owner cleaning for the next arrivals.

The South East Ireland / County Kilkenny region


This property is in the beautiful Barrow Valley and it borders Counties Kilkenny, Carlow and Wexford. The river Barrow runs through the beautiful quaint village of St. Mullins which is 1 mile to the west. To the east superb views of the Blackstairs mountain range can be seen. Four miles away the historic river side town of Graiguenamanagh with its llth Century Duiske Abbey can be visited. Eight miles south is the port town of New Ross where among other places of interest is the Dunbrody Famine Ship
In fact, this property is very central for touring the whole South East of Ireland. 25 miles approx. will take you to the beautiful medieval city of Kilkenny, the former Viking port city of Waterford, they bustling cosmopolitan Norman town of Wexford and the thriving market town of Carlow.
45 minutes drive approx. will take you to the beaches of The Hook Penninsula (Duncannon, Fethard-on-Sea, Bannow Bay). The old lighthouse at Hook Head is well worth a visit.
The Graiguenamanagh / Dranagh area
This area is particularly well served by golf courses, the nearest one 2 min. drive, New Ross, 9 miles, Borris 9 miles, championship course at Mount Juliet 18 miles plus others in nearby Wexford, Waterford, Carlow. Fishing enthusiasts will be well served by the Rivers Barrow and Nore. There are excellent pubs and restaurants in nearby St. Mullins, Graiguenamanagh and New Ross. This property is ideal for walkers who can explore the many beautiful loch's (bypass of weirs) along the River Barrow and for the more energetic, hiking on the Blackstairs Mountains is highly recommended
