Mildred's Cottage and Orchards are situated on the outskirts of the town of Plymouth just off the Arnos Vale Road. Plymouth was the first town in Tobago and has historical sites which are must see.
Plymouth is less than 20 minutes from the airport and less than 15 minutes from the main town of Scarborough, although trips to Scarborough are not essential as Plymouth boasts local bars, eateries, supermarkets and an ATM. Weekends are filled with parties and visitors are always more than welcome.
Turtle Beach is the home of the leather back turtles and their nesting site. A truly magical sight to see them descend on to the beach to lay their eggs. This usually occurs late February early March. Be careful not to get scared as they are the last of the dinosaur species and are rather large.
