This unique luxury detached cottage is located in the lovely village of Landimore, Gower with far reaching views over the surrounding countryside and estuary. The property has been sympathetically refurbished throughout retaining many of the original features and charm of the cottage whilst providing a high standard of accommodation for your enjoyment.
Downstairs comprises of an open plan living, dining and kitchen area. The kitchen provides all modern appliances and everything you will require during your stay. The lounge provides a large sofa, 32” plasma television with SK TV, DVD and freeview plus CD music system. There is also a fully working wood burning stove to keep you warm on the colder nights.
Upstairs comprises of a large bedroom with king size bed, luxury mattress and linen, wardrobe space and chest of drawers. Opposite there is a bathroom with full bath, power shower and heated towel rail. Again everything you will require is provided including ironing facilities and all towels / linen.
Outside there is a large South facing garden with table & chairs and fantastic views over the estuary. BBQ facilities can be provided upon request.
The surrounding area is renowned for its country walks and sandy beaches. There are also a number of excellent pubs and restaurants within a short distance of the property.
This cottage is perfect for the discerning couple who want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the town and enjoy a perfect retreat.

The South Wales / Swansea/Bridgend/Neath region
Swansea is the second largest city in Wales. It used to be a large and industrial port but is now making the most of its maritime heritage. The beach is within easy walk of the city centre.
Swansea is the gateway to the Gower Peninsula, which has some of the best beaches in Britain and makes an excellent holiday destination.
The Gower Peninsula is beautiful and has been left unspoilt. It has many historic features and was one of the first places designated 'An area of outstanding natural beauty'.

FOOD OPTIONS - WHERE TO GO The local pub "The Britannia Inn" with very good a la carte restaurant; bar meals, is midway between Llanmadoc and Cheriton. Local lamb, Hake in batter, great fillet steak, Seabass, belly pork are all occasional / typical menu options.
LOCAL SHOPS Nearest is "OUR SHOP" the local Llanmadoc village shop. Other shops exist (in order of fastest to get to) at Llanrhidian Filling Station/Post Office (10 mins and easiest to navigate / find), Reynoldston Post Office (11 mins via Burry Green, Fairyhill), Knelston Petrol Station and stores (via Burry Green, Burry, Llandewi, takes approx 12 mins drive and always seems to be open - good bread) and Scurlage Post Office / shop (via Burry Green, Burry, Llandewi, into Scurlage - not always open but usually Mon-Sat daytime and has the pharmacy opposite which is useful), or in summertime, try Port Eynon shops.
Alternatively there are shops further away at CK's in Penclawdd (8 miles), or Tesco Express in Gowerton (10 miles). Some good bread here but quite a drive.
NEAREST SUPERMARKETS Closest is CK's in Penclawdd. However if you want a traditional large mainstream retailer, go to Tesco EXTRA in Fforestfach.
To get there, use our directions in reverse but then rather than going to the M4, instead follow the A484 towards Swansea and soon after at before Fforestfach, you will find TESCOs plus, M&S Food plus Dixons, Borders, Pizza Hut, Argos, Boots all found in a retail park at Fforestfach around a mile past the roundabout mentioned earlier in italics.
Other superstores Morrisons (Llansamlet Business Park), Asda (Llansamlet), two more Tescos (Swansea Marina and Llansamlet), Summerfields (Gorseinon) and various Lidl stores (Morriston, Ravenhill, Penllaergear) are found in other parts ofSwansea
