Underwood is a delightful detached period cottage set in picturesque surroundings in the village of Parkmill in South Gower.It is near an ancient watermill & stream.& all the best walks start from the door including a 15 min walk to the famous & unspoilt Three Cliffs Bay. Wooded valleys, a ruined castle, prehistoric ,burial chambers,caves & extensive moorland are all in the vicinity.Pony trekking is available locally & there is a golf course 10 mins drive away. Swansea & Mumbles are easily accessible for boutiques, cinemas & restaurants, being only 20 mins drive away.
The cottage has3 bedrooms, family bathroom & a shower area, a snug, & lounge with a homely stove in an inglenook fireplace.The kitchen is French style & is fully equipped with fridge, freezer, microwave, hob & oven dishwasher, & washer/dryer & seats 6.. On one side of the cottage is a gravel garden with a picnic bench & on the other side is a large flat lawn & also a table & chairs for al fresco dining. There is parking for 2 /3 cars off road. The village shop, church & pub are minutes walk away...

Gower was the first in the UK to be designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It is an 18 mile long peninsula jutting out into the Bristol Channel. & is within easy access of Swansea with the largest covered market in Wales, & Oystermouth, an old fishing village dominated by its castle , & a hotspot for restaurants, boutiques & gift shops.
Parkmill is conveniently placed for excursions in all directions. It is a paradise for walkers & for those who may be interested, there is horse riding available just around the corner to explore the unspoilt countryside. The jewel in the crown is the famous Three Cliffs Bay, only 15 mins walk down a pretty valley, past a ruined castle, following the course of the river as it meanders towards the sea .In the first half of June , the Gower Walking Festival takes place with 71 guided walks over 16 days, for all ages & capabilities .
