Gower

As well as the many beautiful beaches, the Gower has interesting walks to suit everyone. The Gower Heritage Centre in Parkmill offers visitors a chance to explore the rural life museum based around a working 12th century water-mill.

For history lovers, the area boasts many ancient sites, monuments, caves, castles, shipwrecks and landmarks including Arthur's Stone, Giants Grave burial chamber and Pennard Castle. Stone Age artefacts have been discovered in Gower caves, including the oldest dated modern human remains ever discovered in Britain.

"Great location, lovely bungalow and lots of amenities"

We had a long journey to the bungalow but the instructions from the owner was really clear. The property was well presented and very clean with a welcome pack which was a nice surprise. The holiday village had lots of amenities which was great with a pool, play areas, handy pub and shop. The holiday village is a nice size and quite quiet, but very family friendly. The nearby beaches are very beautiful and it's worth investigating the coast - be prepared for narrow roads! I will definitely be booking this bungalow again.

"Absolutely perfect family holiday"

Perfect location for everything on the Gower. Spotless and well proportioned holiday chalet. Owners go out of their way to be cheerful and helpful. Chalet and Site has everything you need whilst still feeling quiet and private. Kids happy, we were happy! Can't recommend this highly enough- great value for money.

"Perfect location for exploring Gower.."

The bungalow is very comfortable having all the facilities we needed. Our children loved using the on-site swimming pool and played on the playground everyday. Both the pool and the playground are literally a few short steps from the bungalow. There is a pub, a shop, selling groceries and a fish and chip shop at the site entrance.
The location is excellent for touring Gower by car and I would recommend that you have your own transport noas the beaches are not within walking distance but are easily reached by car. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here.
