This luxury Gower self catering cottage has a sunny lounge with a 3 piece suite and patio window to garden, gas fire, flat TV, DVD, movies, board games and free Wi-Fi internet connection.
The kitchen / diner offers luxury fitted units, ceramic hob, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle, iron, utensils and crockery for six. The dining table has 6 chairs. Separate utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer included.
There is a king-sized bed in the double bedroom with a rustic wardrobe and bedside tables. Both the twin room and the single room are also furnished with wardrobes and bedside tables. All the bedrooms include luxury mattresses, Pristine duvets, linen and towels.
The modern white suite bathroom has bath with power shower, heated towel rail, shaver point, downlighters, full tiling and ceramic floor.
Outside this Gower self catering cottage is an inviting floral garden with patio / BBQ area.
There is also a private pool opposite the cottage if you fancy a swimming holiday (see note below).
Bed linen, hand and bath towels included.

There is a ramp to rear door for wheelchair access.
Cot and high chair available on request. There is a small charge of £5 each to cover anti-bacterial cleaning before and after use. Please bring your own cot bedding with you.

A private swimming pool is located opposite the cottage (available June - mid September). Use of the pool is not a formal part of the rental contract but guests may be permitted to use the pool by arrangement and subject to the owners' strict house rules which are necessary to ensure that NO accidents occur. In particular, minors are not permitted to use the swimming pool unless a parent is in attendance at all times to ensure sensible and safe behaviour.

Enjoy a central Gower holiday at this luxury cottage, located within curtilage of the farm and village of Southgate. It has gated private road access and is 200 meters from Pennard Golf Club. Only a half a mile away is the stunning Three Cliffs Bay. The Gower, Wales celebrated its 50th Anniversary in 2006 as Britain's first designated 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty'. The 19-mile long Peninsula comprises of some of Wales' cleanest and most stunning beaches, including Rhossili, where you can enjoy the most spectacular view of the famous Worm's Head and Llangennith Beach that is recognised as one of the premier surf beaches in the UK.
There's a historic ruin in the centre of the farm where the cottage is located, originally housing priests of the Knights' Templar in medieval times. This cottage is an ideal location for walking and enjoying the spectacular coastal scenery.
Good footpath routes lead from the cottage to wooded valleys, heather moors, cliff walks and sandy beaches. To the West of the cottage a footpath on the boundary of the farm leads to Pobbles and Three Cliffs Bay. From there, at low tide, five miles of sand are exposed to Oxwich Bay. Paths then lead to Port Eynon and Paviland Caves (Site of one of the earliest known human burial remains in the UK: Thought to be more than 25,000 years old.) Inland walks from the cottage cross the golf course by public footpath and lead to the ancient ruins of Pennard Castle. Other activities to enjoy in the area include golf, exploring the bays and pony trekking.
The are also plenty of indoor activities nearby including the new £32m Leisure Centre (LC2) in Swansea offering swimming, water park entertainment and first class sports facilities. Swansea City centre also has an enviable choice of restaurants providing a choice of many cuisines and shopping facilities to equal any major city. The City also boasts free access to maritime and industrial museums and art galleries. On the outskirts of the city are delightful parks and miles of countryside and seaside promenade walks.
Three Cliffs Bay forms a continuous sandy beach with Oxwich Bay beach to the west. They only exist as separate beaches at high tide. In June 2006 the BBC Holidays at Home programme declared Three Cliffs Bay to be Britain's best beach. 0.5 miles
Swansea Watersports offers a range of activities to cater for the easy going all the way through to the thrill seeking adventurer. 7 miles. With so many beaches sea activities are abundant including surfboard, kayak and kitesurfing hire at Oxwich. 3 miles
