The Old Vicarage
About the home
The Old Vicarage is prominently situated on a hill overlooking the wonderful Gower countryside. Quiet and peaceful yet within minutes of Gower's world class beaches and just 15 minutes from Mumbles village, famous for it's restaurants, bars and shops.
The Old Vicarage was completed in 1901 and has recently been completely refurbished to offer a full range of modern amenities within a beautifully decorated country house that will provide you with a lifetime of memories.
The house is perfect for families, extended families, groups of friends & wedding guests looking to enjoy first class accommodation. The library and east sitting room offers sanctuary to guests wishing to relax quietly in front of a roaring fire, whilst the family room and conservatory off the kitchen is the hub of the house. The heart of the house is undoubtedly the enormous family kitchen. The large oak central island allows guests to sit in the heart of the kitchen next to the range cooker. The conservatory, off the kitchen, houses a solid oak table with seating for 12 or more and a wood burning stove.
The 5 star Fairyhill restaurant is within walking distance of 20 to 25 minutes as is the renowned King Arthur country pub serving excellent food & drink in a traditional country pub environment.
Gower provides the opportunity for golf, watersports, horse riding, hiking, cycling or just relaxing and enjoying some of Europe's favourite beaches..

The South Wales / Swansea/Bridgend/Neath region
The Gower peninsula was the UK's first designated area of outstanding natural beauty.
The peninsula has many beautiful beaches ranging from Three Cliffs (voted the best beach in Europe) to Caswell & the world famous Rhossilli beach with the scenic Worm's Head promontory.
The Old Vicarage provides easy access to the north& south Gower coast.
The north coast has green fields and villages sweeping gently down to the sea.
The south coast has limestone cliffs and some of Europe's best loved sandy bays with easy access for walkers and cars.
There are too many "must see" highlights in and around Gower but most visitors ensure they visit Rhossili, Three Cliffs and spend at least one day in the seaside village of Mumbles with it's great variety of independent shops, bars, restaurants and cafes.
The walk from Parkmill to Three Cliffs follows a fast flowing stream through a beautiful, wooded valley with the haunting Pennard Castle overlooking Three Cliffs Bay is simply stunning.
The Gower / Reynoldston area
The Old Vicarage is perfectly situated to provide easy access to all of the activities, countryside, beaches and entertainment that Gower offers all visitors.
The house is within walking distance of 20 to 25 minutes of the renowned 5 star Fairyhill Restaurant and the delightful King Arthur Country Pub.
World class beaches vary from a few minutes to 15 minutes drive through beautiful countryside.
Mumbles is a delightful village just a short drive away and offers a wealth of high quality restaurants, bars and independent shops.
A wide range of activities are available including hiking, cycling, horse riding, surfing, watersports and golf.
