Home description

Apartment accommodation comprises :- lounge 40 sq.m with kitchenette and door onto balcony with terrace overlooking farmyard, garden and swimming pool. Double bedroom with hand-basin, wardrobe and radiator. Door to balcony / terrace overlooking neighbouring cottage gardens. There is a folding single bed available in the lounge of the apartment, should you need to bring an extra person with you. We also have a cot available. English Sky / French television with all English free to view channels. The garden is 1800 sq.m and well stocked, private with barbeque seated areas and a swimming pool of 8m x 4m. There are five sunbeds and guests are requested to bring their own beach towels for use around the pool area. Close to the swimming pool there is an outside WC with hand-basin. The owners who live in the main part of the Auberge make sure that the swimming pool is cleaned every day and is at your disposal at all times. There is table tennis. The owners provide a ' Welcome Pack ' comprising:- bread, milk, butter, eggs, coffee, jam, cornflakes and a bottle of Cahors wine. Should you need to bring your Laptop we have Wi-Fi connection available to connect to the internet. We will provide the password to gain access.

The Midi-Pyrenees / Lot region

Our charming village is situated in the North of the Lot region amongst the rugged terrain of the Causse. This area is celebrated for its purity of the air, its secret paths for walkers wishing to explore its natural beauty. The enchanted world of prehistoric caves and the Gouffre de Padirac awaits you. We are just a short distance from the Dordogne region to visit the interesting medieval town of Sarlat. The nearest 18 hole GOLF COURSE is situated at Souillac Golf & Country Club and is only 20 minutes drive from here. This is the "Real France" so why are you waiting, book your flight and visit this beautiful region.


Gourdon / Saint Projet area

The tranquil village of Saint Projet is just 9km from the medieval town of Gourdon which has many restaurants, shops, cinema and it's own hospital. Gourdon has 4 choirs and there are many concerts throughout the year. Be sure that you take time to visit the many places of interest in the Lot region and in particular Rocamadour the second most visited place in France. Then capital of the Lot region Cahors famous for the Pont de Valentre and of course its wine and cheese.

Fly to Bergerac, Rodez or Toulouse via Flybe or Easyjet. Car hire is available from these airports. Travelling from these airports to Saint Projet will take approximately 1hour 40 minutes. If travelling by car from the Ferryports such as Calais it will take approximately 8 to 9 hours. We always email / provide our guests with a route plan to travel from the Airport or Ferryport.

The swimming pool which has an approved French Alarm with the mark NF P90-307. However with all swimming pool security equipment a responsible adult / parent must be in attendance at all times to supervise their children in the pool and surrounding area.
The outside WC and changing room is close to the swimming pool. In addition there is lighting for warm evening barbeques making an extremely relaxing ambiance.

The owners make sure that the pool is cleaned and is at your disposal at all times.

They have no family but living with them are their cats and two Cavalier King Charles dogs.

Guests are requested to bring their own beach towels for use around the pool area.


Conditions

A booking deposit of £100 per week booked is required and the final balance is required (8) weeks prior to the start of rental period. A refundable damage security deposit of £150 or 220 euros is required when paying the final balance eight (8) weeks prior to the start of the rental period. A Booking Form and the owner's Terms & Conditions will be provided.

Pets are allowed with prior permission of the owners.
