The Midi-Pyrenees / Lot region
We have beautiful seasonal changes, cold Winters, warm Spring, hot Summer and coloufull Autumn. Every season brings a change and a different view.
The area is full of history and shows the true rural French life that still exists.
We are close to many of the most beautiful villages in France such as Rocamadour, Saint Cirq, we are only 12 kms from the Medival town of Gourdon.
Many historic caves to vist, excellent walking country. Wine tasting at local chateaus, taste the 'black' Cahors wines. Many local markets.
Gourdon / Payrac area
Gourdon, medival town with view from Cathederal, Saturday market. Many restaurants and summer fetes. Payrac local for small shops and services plus tennis courts.
Many attractions for children in area from water parks to bird life, monkey parks and animal parks. Historic caves, canoeing, adventure and water parks all nearby.
How to get there
Drive after ferry or tunnel crossing direct on newly opened A20. Fly direct to Toulouse or Bergerac with cheap airlines, Ryan Air or Easy Jet, 1.5 hr drive from airport. Take train direct to Gouron station from Paris, UK to Paris on Eurostar.
