Number 2 Fullers Farm Cottages is one of a pair of country cottages set in a wonderful idyllic setting surrounded by farmland. There are far reaching views in all directions yet the cottages are within five minutes of the picturesque village of Goudhurst with its wonderful mix of antique and gift shops, bakery, butcher, newsagent, chemist, country pubs and post office/ general stores.
The cottage has just been completely renovated to offer comfortable high quality accommodation in the Weald of Kent.
The ground floor has lovely oak flooring with plain pastel coloured carpeting to the first and second floor. The furniture is a happy mixture of antique and modern and has a lovely warm and welcoming feel.

Kent is in the South-East of England and consists of many important districts such as Dartford, Maidstone, Ashford, Canterbury and Dover.
Arts: Canterbury inspired Chaucer's Canterbury Tales and William Golding worked in Maidstone.
Transport: Kent is easily accessible by road, sea or rail. Indeed, Dover is the closest point to France and remains a hub for ferry travel to the rest of Europe.

Goudhurst area
Goudhurst is one of the most renowned and picturesque villages in the heart of the Weald of Kent built on a hill with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The landscape is richly timbered with woods on all sides and the village itself has a good range of shops, restaurants (Thai, Italian) and country pubs. The National Pinetum is a couple of miiles away at Bedgebury.
Some outstanding attractions within a few miles include the National Trust properties of Sissinghurst Castle with its renowned gardens, Bodiam Castle, the nearby Scotney Castle and the ruins of Bayham Abbey. Slightly further are the Batemans (one time home of Rudyard Kipling), Ightham Moat, Penshurst Place and Great Dixter. The village of Kilndown has a remarkable 19th Century church with unique features. There are numberous footpaths in the area offering an excellent range of walks. The nearest seaside resort is Hastings with the smugglers town of Rye within 45 minutes and the Spa town of Tunbridge Wells is ten miles to the West offering excellent shops and restaurants, a cinema and bowling alley.
There is sailing, wind surfing, fly-fishing and walking at Bewl reservoir, 15 minutes drive away and for the children Drusillas Country Park, Runaround (Tunbridge Wells), Hop Farm offering children's activities, Rare Breeds Centre, and three Steam railways including the Spa Valley Railway (from Tunbridge Wells).
London can be reached by train in 45 minutes from a number of local stations.

Further details indoors: The cottage has one double bedroom and three twins with one bathroom and a shower room arranged on three floors. It has a beautiful bespoke oak finished kitchen with granite work surfaces plus a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, electric hob, electric oven and extractor fan. There is a separate utility room with a washing machine and tumble drier. The L-shaped sitting / dining room is of a good size with natural oak flooring, an open fireplace and French windows opening out on to a patio and the fenced garden.
The garden that surrounds each cottage has access to a field for more active play and there is the use of a shared tennis court for those friendly or perhaps not so friendly holiday matches.
The cottage is approached from a quiet country lane into the grounds of Trottenden Farm and there is parking to the front of the cottage.
