Home description

Alba House is a modern, comfortable property with wonderful country and seaviews from the rear of the property. 1 bedroom and shower room upstairs and 2 bedrooms and a bathroom downstairs - each with quality beds and bedding. The living accommodation is open plan with pale oak flooring, woodburners and patio doors opening from each room onto the southfacing balcony which runs the full length of the house. Well equipped kitchen/diner leads onto balcony with table and seating for 6 and a couple of large squashy beanbags for catching the sun!

A small enclosed rear garden with patio area has a stream and children should be supervised. Alba House is also available to rent with or without annex - Alba studio (attached to house) which sleeps 2 in a superking bed with private facilities and kitchenette - ideal to bring family or friends on holiday with you! This part of Cornwall (south coast) has gentle rolling countryside, dramatic cliff and coastal scenery and unspoiled beaches. There are a number of small villages dotted along the coastline with good small shops, pubs and restaurants and the people living here are friendly.
It's a good place for a holiday at any time of the year.


Gorran Haven area

Gorran Haven is a small village half way down the south coast of Cornwall, set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with good beaches and fine walks.
Well away from main roads and with the nearest town 12 miles distant, it is nicely off the beaten track.
In Summer the safe sandy village beach is ideal for families with children of any age, plenty of paddling, rock pools and a convenient small beach café serving good quality snacks and ice creams. For those wanting a quieter time, there are other beaches nearby that can be reached by only by cliff top and inland circular walks.

Large sunny decked balcony runs the full length of the rear of the house taking in the views of the National Trust and out to sea. The rear garden has a grassy area and a patio area for BBQ and relaxing. There is a stream, children must not be left alone and should be supervised at all times. There is parking for 1 car at the front of the house. Alba House has an annex - Alba Studio - which is attached to Alba House. Both properties can be rented in conjunction with each other. A further car parking space is available with Alba Studio

Alba House has a separate annex (Alba Studio) which can be rented with Alba House thereby creating plenty of space for 8 people in total.
Alba Studio is attached to the house and can be opened up at the rear (via the balcony) to provide additional accommodation with private facilities for up to 2 people. Additional parking comes with Alba Studio.
Alba Studio is also rented separately
