The Chapel lets you experience a traditional English seaside holiday while you immerse yourself in history. This superbly converted former Methodist chapel dating from the 1800’s has a double height ceiling, original wood panelling, stained glass windows, chandeliers and plenty of space. And with three bedrooms upstairs (2 double rooms and 1 with 6 bunks), it’s perfect for a large family or two families sharing a holiday together.
Designed for those with children, the family-friendly Chapel even has a secret hideaway den under the old pulpit that will entertain young children for hours. The safe, sandy beach at Gorran Haven – perfect for building sandcastles and exploring the rock pools – is only five minutes drive away. But there’s something for all the family here. Teenagers will love the extreme sports on offer on the north coast – surfing, rockclimbing and wakeboarding to name a few. Even your family dog or well-behaved pet is welcome.

Within easy reach of the Chapel are the mysterious and lovingly restored Lost Gardens of Heligan, the Carlyon Bay championship golf course overlooking a dramatic coastline, sailing from the picturesque ancient harbour of Fowey and cycling along scenic coastal paths from Pentewan.
The Cornish coastline offers visitors a huge choice of walks from gentle one hour strolls to week long hikes. Cornwall is in the privileged position of having two coastlines: the Atlantic coast famous for its surfing beaches and huge expanses of golden sand, and the English Channel coast which is more gentle with hidden coves and tranquil creeks.
For those with a spirit of adventure and a love of the outdoors, Cornwall is one big, beautiful playground.
