1st comment: Fantastic location; excellent for families; good shop and close to Helligan Gardens, clay museum, St Austell, Mevigissey (lovely), St Mawes etc. You are paying for the location but it is great for the family’s accessibility to beach etc. July 2009. Oct 2009.
2nd comment: Good sized bedrooms, separate small sitting room for kids, Sky TV!, big fridge, close to sea, village location, well equipped. Aug 2009.

4th comment: An amazing house for cooking, entertaining and lazing around! March 2008.
5th comment: We stayed here over New Year and had an excellent time. The house itself is pretty luxurious and even better equipped than advertised. It has Sky+, not just Sky and it has an Xbox 360, not a regular Xbox. It also has lots of little luxuries like a designer fridge with an ice dispenser, a cafetiere, an ice bucket and loads of champagne flutes - just what you need for New Year! The house is a stone’s throw from the beach and the little shop down the road is a gem. Walking the cliff path to Mevagissey is recommended, as is the longer walk in the other direction from Portholland or Porloe. Gorran Haven makes for a charming, secluded destination all year round yet still close enough to civilisation. Just make sure you follow the road signs to the village - don’t follow your sat nav and end up going through Mevagissey, as it’s a nightmare to negotiate in a car! Would definitely stay here again. Dec 2007.
