Les Cigales is an attractive Provencal property boasting exposed stone walls and large enclosed grounds with shaded terraces and private pool.

This unpretentious villa is well equipped and provides comfortable accommodation in a prime location.

Situated on a hill, on the heights of Vallauris, in a peaceful setting with views over Cap d'Antibes and Vallauris it is ideally located half way between Cannes and Juan les Pins.

Vallauris itself is set in the hills above the magnificent Golfe Juan and enjoys stunning panoramic views of the Bay of Cannes, the lles de Lérins and the Esterel mountains. The old Vallauris oozes Mediterranean charm and boasts a tradition of pottery. Picasso spent ten years here.

Also 8 km from Antibes and Cannes, 20 km from Grasse, 27 km from Nice. 45 km from Monaco.

The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Alpes-Maritimes region

The Cote d'azur stretches along the warmest coastline of France from Provence to the Italian border.
The beaches from pebble to fine sand are well maintained and some 'private' offer extra facilities, bars and restaurants for a whole days comfortable seaside lounging! Gastronomy is at its best catering for some of the most prestigious clients but offering many choices of restaurant all along the coast.

The bustling cities of Cannes and Nice contrast to the small and still authentic perched villages on the hilltops, and other smaller towns offer quiet corners with dotted villas and yet still most interesting town centres alive with artistic history and tradition.

Further north the terraced hillsides lead up into cooler parts and the Alps can be seen towering above. Hiking and walking as well as many watersports on the lakes will be amongst activities here away from the busier coasts.

Cannes. 8 km. Beachside resort with its large promenade, chic boutiques, restaurants, bars, shops and festivals including the famous Cannes film festival in May each year. A walk along the “Croisette”, harbour and sandy beaches is a must.
Antibes-Juan les Pins. 8 km. Two towns in one! Antibes with its vibrant historic centre with narrow winding streets, a good choice of restaurants, cafés, theatres, piano bars, chic hotels, private clubs and Picasso museum, and Juan les Pins renowned for its gorgeous beaches, exciting nightlife with fashionable night clubs, casino and even night shopping. Also Cap d'Antibes, a small piece of paradise, home to a number of millionaires.
Biot. 10 km. Beautiful and picturesque little village best known for its glassware.
Théoule sur Mer. 15 km. Charming seaside resort nestling in a small cove at the foot of the Estérel mountain with red rocky inlets and beautiful sandy beaches shaded by exotic palm trees and majestic parasol pines.

Visiobulle Antibes, Juan les Pins. 7 km. Boat trip. An hour long excursion in a glass-bottomed boat to discover the Cap d'Antibes with stunning underwater view.
Golf Country Club de Cannes Mougins, Mougins. 7 km. Golf course. 18 holes Par 72 - 6312m. In the heart of a magnificent forest, a technical course full of variety and nicely landscaped with few but strategically placed water hazards.
Marineland, Antibes. 12 km. Aquarium. The greatest marine show in Europe with dolphins, orcas, killer whales and seals. Also aquariums and a 30m-long tunnel surrounded by sharks!
Aquasplash, Antibes. 12 km. Water park. Water slides, wave pool, slides, toboggans, flumes and rubber-ring rides... and the Black Cannon, one of France’s fastest water slides, which propels riders to speeds of 60 km/hour!!

FURTHER AFIELD:
St Paul de Vence. 20 km. One of the most beautiful and most visited villages in France which has attracted many artists due to its great natural beauty. Also home to Fondation Maeght, France’s most important modern art museum with a remarkable collection of paintings, sculptures, drawings and other graphic works from the 20th century.
Grasse. 20 km. Fascinating historic town and world's perfume capital. Explore the delightful narrow streets or go on one of the factory tours offered by some of the most famous perfume houses.
Nice. 27 km. Fashionable and unmissable seaside resort with its wonderful “Promenade des Anglais”, a long boulevard along the seaside dotted with palm trees, its old town with pretty colourful architecture and narrow streets. Take a stroll along the flower market in the “Cours Saleya”, restaurants serving Mediterranean and sea food and bars. Nice is cool in winter and hot in summer!!!
Tourrettes sur Loup. 30 km. Charming hill top medieval village known as the Violet village and surrounded by superb landscapes. Well worth a detour.
