About the home

This is the perfect self catering apartment and resort for families and for golfers.

The apartment has been recently refurbished to a high standard and is very comfortable, colourful, light and open and our guests love the convenient position by the pool and amenities. It is situated on the San Andres resort within Golf Del Sur. There is air-conditioning throughout the accommodation ensuring a really comfortable stay for all the family, year round. The kitchen is fully integrated with oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine & large fridge freezer.

The resort has 3 swimming pools one of which is heated all year round. The largest swimming pool has a pool bar/cafe in the centre, serving food and drink from 10am until 12pm. The resort also has tennis courts, a gym, games room with pool and table tennis and recreation area with childrens playground, football nets and golf nets.

The Golf Del Sur, clubhouse is literally at the bottom of the road, within a 2 minute walk of the complex, so it is ideal accommodation for golfers. No need for a car when you have 27 championship holes on your doorstep! The resort is popular but never overcrowded and there are plenty of quiet spots to get away from it all.

You will be well looked after by the new property management company onsite, whose office is located in the reception area. They will welcome you on arrival.

THE MASTER BEDROOM
The master bedroom has air-con, a double bed, bedside table and lamps, has aircon and television. Two wardrobes, and windows and shutters with an en-suite bathroom with corner bath and shower over bath, large sink area, w.c and bidet.

THE TWIN ROOM
The second bedroom has air-con and is a spacious twin room with the option of 2 or 3 single beds can be made up in this room. It has a view out to the pool area.

THE THIRD ROOM
The third bedroom has air-con and has a single bed with skylight for natural light .

MAIN BATHROOM
Comprises shower, toilet and sink.

LIVING AREA
The living area is air-conditioned and has a large comfortable L shaped sofa with Television with satellite TV with over 30 channels including al the favourites BBC1, BBC2, CBBC, ITV, Channel 4, Film Four,
EuroSport, Sky News There is also a CD stereo.

DINING AREA
There is a large dining table with 6 chairs in an open plan dining area just off the kitchen and living area. The windows in the dining area can be opened up onto the garden. The dining area leads onto the garden & terrace.

The garden has a grass lawn with table & chairs. The communal sun lounging area has plenty of sunbeds which are free to use and ergonomically designed for comfort. The main pool is fabulous for swimming a longer distance...and has a pool bar in the centre of the pool. There is a smaller heated pool and a further heated childrens pool...with a fantastic playground next to it.

The Tenerife region

Tenerife is located just 180km off the coast of Western Sahara in Africa and is the largest of the seven islands which make up the Canary Islands. It is part of Spain and last year recorded the most amount of sunshine (3,780hrs) in the whole of Spain...if you were looking for somewhere with guaranteed sunshine then Tenerife must be top of the list!

The south of the island is dryer ,with less rainfall than the lush north and the average temperature all year round is on a par with the Caribbean at around 23c ...YES!!...this means that all year round...October to April and on Christmas Day the beaches are full and the sea is warm enough to swim in.

Tenerife has something for everyone...whether exploring, walking, golfing, wine tasting or simply relaxing. Travel across the island at your own lesiure and expect wonderful hospitality from the local Canarian people.

The Golf del Sur / San Andres area

Golf del Sur is situated on the coast with a few small beaches, these are either sandy/pebbly or pebble beaches. The area is quieter than Los Cristianos and Playa de las Americas but it has a good selection of restaurants, bars, activities and shops and it is only a short walk to the fishing village of Los Abrigos which has a wide selection of fish restaurants and good standard International cuisine. The immediate area has tennis courts, mini golf, 27-hole championship golf course, submarine trips, yachting marina, big game fishing, jet skis, coastal walks, a selection of spa's and there is evening entertainment in The San Blas Commercial Centre (The Square). Just a short drive away is Los Cristianos, El Medano and Los Abrigos.

From the airport, take the TF1 Motorway towards Los Cristianos and then take the 1st turning off the motorway and follow signs to Golf Del Sur.
