About the home

Spacious two bedroom apartment on quiet residential complex with large south facing terrace. Lounge tastefully furnished with 3 seater sofa bed, dining table and chairs, satellite TV, DVD, CD player, and iPod dock. Fully equipped kitchen with microwave , and washing machine. Two bedrooms each with two single beds and fitted wardrobes, one with a safe.
Two outdoor pools each with a kiddies section. Five minute walk to San Blas centre with its wide variety of restaurants, bars, shops and supermarket. 27-hole championship golf course a short stroll , and Marina ten minutes away. Ideal family and golfers resort.

Tastefully furnished and recently updated. Fully fitted kitchen with microwave, washing machine, and drinking water filter. 3 seater sofa bed and dining table and chairs. Satellite TV and DVD. CD player. Each bedroom has two single beds, a dressing table and stool and a large fitted wardrobe, one with a safe. A Graco travel cot is also available.
The exceptionally large terrace (38 sq.m) has a table and six chairs for alfresco dining and two sunbeds for soaking up the sun. The terrace has lovely sea views. There is a BBQ. The apartment is very close to the main heated swimming pool.

Terrazas de la Paz is a quiet residential complex with two swimming pools and is a 5 minute walk from the commercial centre, San Blas. Just a short walk from the 27-hole golf course and 5 minutes from the sea. Golf del Sur is a green oasis built around the golf course that has hosted several international events. A quieter area of Tenerife, it is ideally suited to golfers, families and those who just want to take life easy. There are sandy beaches a few minutes drive away and busier nightlife and shopping can be found in Los Christianos or Las Americas,which can be reached by car or bus in 10 to 15 minutes. There is a bus stop outside the apartment complex.

The Tenerife region

Tenerife is the largest of the Canary Islands. It has a year round temperate climate. Golf del Sur in the south is sunny and dry whilst the north of the island is cooler and wetter and therefore green and lush. The capital Santa Cruz hosts a Carnival in February and this is the largest carnival outside Brazil. Los Abrigos the next town to Golf del Sur also has its own carnival in September complete with spectacular fireworks. Mount Teide is the volcano in the centre of the island and worth a trip. The beaches on Tenerife comprise black volcanic sand but golden sand can be found at Los Christianos and Las Americas and also El Medano which is famed for its windsurfing. Tenerife is a duty free port.

The Golf del Sur / Terrazas de La Paz area

Golf del Sur is situated approximately 15 minutes drive from the airport. It boasts a 27 hole championship golf course (3, 9 hole courses, north, south and links). San Miguel marina is only a short walk away along the marine walk, which also has numerous restaurants and bars. Amarilla the next resort also has an 18 hole course. San Blas is the commercial centre and has numerous restaurants, english, italian, chinese, indian etc. and plenty of bars and a nightclub. There are also shops, an internet cafe, banks, church and a supermarket all within this commercial centre.
Los Abrigos, a small fishing port is a 20 minute walk across the rocky front from Golf del Sur, or a five minute drive away. Los Abrigos is famous for its fish restaurants. Activities to be found in Golf del Sur are golf, tennis, horse riding, go-karting, bowling etc.
Within reach are deep sea fishing, windsurfing, whale watching and an aqua park.

Fly to Tenerife South airport (Reina Sofia) then take a taxi to Golf del Sur - 10-15 minutes. Taxi fare approx. 15 euros. Car hire available at airport and we can recommend Autoreisen or Record Rent a car..
