Home description
This light, airy apartment has two balconies facing south-west, perfect for catching the afternoon sun and enjoying the stunning sea view. The large shared pool has a children's section, sunbeds and another gorgeous sea view.
The San Blas Centre across the road has a wide selection of shops and restaurants. Just 5 minutes down the road, the seafront path takes you to beaches, coves, a seawater pool, the marina and more restaurants. Continue across the beach to the fishing village of Los Abrigos for delicious fresh seafood.
It is a short 10 minute walk to the beautiful golf course set in cactus gardens between Mount Teide and the sea. You are welcome to use the 2 sets of golf clubs left in the apartment.

The Tenerife region
With its 'eternal spring' climate, Tenerife is the ideal holiday resort all year round. It is warm enough to wear shorts in the winter sun and you are cooled by the sea breeze in summer. Wherever you are on the island, you get stunning mountain and sea views.
Mount Teide is Spain's highest mountain, sometimes seen with a snow-covered peak. It divides the island into the well-watered, lush north and the dry south with its cacti and banana plantations. Drive round the island to view the varied, spectacular scenery. Stop in Spanish villages for traditional food, or in holiday resorts for whatever you miss from home.
Different resorts cater to all your holiday requirements, from the party scene to the peaceful golf course, from raunchy night clubs to theme parks for children.
Golf del Sur / Sand Club area
Golf del Sur is one of the more peaceful resorts. No noisy night clubs, but a range of bars and restaurants offering everything from traditional Spanish tapas to traditional British Sunday roast, from Indian curries to a Chinese buffet, from quizz nights to karaoke.
Walk along the spectacular coastal path to visit beaches, coves, a seawater pool, a marina with watersports and a yellow submarine, which you can board to go viewing underwater. There are ladders from the rocks into the sea if you prefer to go snorkelling or diving. Follow the path beyond the San Blas Village beach to walk to Los Abrigos, a traditional fishing village where you can eat delicious fresh seafood. Walk further through the cacti to visit the landmarks Red Rock and Yellow Rock.
Daytime activities include tennis, bowls, and of course golf. The beautiful golf course is just 10 minutes walk from Sand Club, or take a short drive to the neighbouring Amarilla Golf course, which goes right down to the sea and has some interesting water features.
How to get there
Fly to Reina Sofia airport in southern Tenerife. Several budget airlines do direct flights. Shop around on the internet for best flight deals. Try using lastminute.com, but then try the airline website to see if they have any special deals. Monarch is often the cheapest from Gatwick. A car is not essential. A taxi from airport to Sand Club is just 15 euros. Amenities are easy walking distance and there are bus services to other towns. Search on the internet for best car hire deals.

Further details indoors: The light, spacious living room has 2 comfortable sofas, a coffee table and a sideboard, with satellite TV and a radio/CD player. Attractive patio doors lead onto the main bacony. The kitchenette, with lovingly polished cupboards, has a breakfast bar with 4 stools. Both twin bedrooms have spacious built-in wardrobes, where you will find the 2 sets of golf clubs that you can use. One bedroom has patio doors leading onto a second balcony, the other overlooks the main balcony. The bathroom has bath with shower over, WC, washbasin and washing machine.
Further details outdoors: On the main balcony is a patio table with 4 chairs and 4 sunloungers, for enjoying the afternoon sun and the view. The second balcony has a clothes airer for drying your washing. The lovely large shared pool has a children's section, sunbeds, toilets and that stunning sea view. Wander round the paths of this charming, whitewashed complex and enjoy the attractive palm trees, succulents and bougainvillea.
Conditions
Steps up to front door make it unsuitable for infirm, wheelchair users and children under 5. Strictly no smoking. A deposit of £50/week is payable on booking. Full payment to be completed 6 weeks prior to arrival. A breakage deposit of £100 should also be paid, returnable within 2 weeks after your departure (subject to a satisfactory property inspection).
