One of the bathrooms has been converted into walk in shower for disabled use. TV with satellite channels including BBC1 BBC2, C4, ITV and SKY SPORTS. . This complex is known for its very large balconies and on this penthouse gets very good sun right up to sunset. fantastic sea and marina views.There is a heated swimming pool exclusively for clients of Duquesa.
Additionally there is a shallow pool for our youngest guests. The kitchen is very well equipped with full hob, oven and grill. Washing machines and microwaves are provided. There is underground parking for clients who have hired a car. This property has been converted for wheelchair users having wider doors and walk in shower room.

With an open south and west facing balcony this is a real sun trap. Sun loungers and patio table and chairs for al fresco dining. The property is top floor easily accessible with a lift. Duquesa is a fully gated complex of just less than 90 properties. It is ideal for those who want luxury and peace yet be only a few minutes walk from the sea and restaurants and amenities.

There is a key and breakages deposit payable in advance and refunded once you return home and subject to there being no damages and the keys having been returned as per instructions given

Situated in the sunny South of Tenerife, Golf del Sur is blessed with a wonderful year round pleasant climate. Even in the winter months temperatures rarely fall below 22C. In summer the cooling influence of the Atlantic means it rarely rises above 30C. No wonder Tenerife is known as the 'Fortunate Island'
The Golf del Sur / Duquesa del Mar area
The Duquesa del Mar Apartment complex is a fully gated complex just minutes from the sea front. It is a small , friendly and welcoming place where you will always find a space to relax by the pool. From the complex a very pleasant walk leads to you to the marina where you can relax and enjoy a drink while watching the boats. In the other direction this sea front walk leads to San Blas the centre of Golf del Sur where there are two large piazas with plenty of good restaurants. There are also restaurants within a 2 minute walk from Duquesa.
There is a wonderful Golf course nearby and also tennis courts and crazy golf as well as putting green and driving range
There is a very good bus service linking 'The Golf' with many other places on the island. If a car is hired there is underground parking in the complex

The most convenient airport for this accommodation is Tenerife South (TFS) giving a quick transfer time of 20 minutes. There is a second airport in the north of the island (TFN) which is about 90 minutes drive away. Many airlines fly to Tenerife-too many to list here in full but from the UK include Easyjet, Ryanair, First Choice, Thomas Cook, Iberia. Many other northern European countries also operate direct flights.

Apartment was nicely decorated, had nice views, large and spacious with good sized bedrooms. .Pool was good size. There are however lots of steps on the complex albeit there are lifts. Response: Thank you for reviewing the penthouse. It was pleasing to hear that you were impressed. Its a terraced complex so yes there are steps but as you say its very well served with lifts (this particular property has one very near and is in fact suitable for disabled guests) |
