Situated in the sunny South of Tenerife, Golf del Sur is blessed with a wonderful year round pleasant climate. Even in the winter months temperatures rarely fall below 22C. In summer the cooling influence of the Atlantic means it rarely rises above 30C. No wonder Tenerife is known as the 'Fortunate Island'
Golf del Sur / Ocean Golf and Country Club area
Ocean Golf and Country Club is well situated affording excellent views across the gofing fairways to the sea. There are hree swimming pools on the complex, one of which is specifically for children. The complex is a mixture of ex-pats and holiday makers and is very well maintained. Within a short walk you will be spoilt for choice with some excellent restaurants and interesting bars. How to get there
The most convenient airport for this accommodation is Tenerife South (TFS) giving a quick transfer time of 20 minutes. There is a second airport in the north of the island (TFN) which is about 90 minutes drive away. Many airlines fly to Tenerife-too many to list here in full but from the UK include Easyjet, Ryanair, First Choice, Thomas Cook, Iberia. Many other northern european countries also operate direct flights.

Further details outdoors: The lounge leads to a balcony with wooden bench seating and a table for outside dining. There is a comfortable and spacious living area and stairs lead to the private roof terrace. This is a real sun trap and has spectacular views in all directions. Tony and Michaela, who look after the cleaning and maintenance live next door so are on hand in the unlikely event of an emergency arising. The unit is on the second floor and therefore may not be suitable for those who find stairs difficult. The top patio is reached via a spiral staircase form the lounge.
