The Tenerife region
Situated in the sunny South of Tenerife, Golf del Sur is blessed with a wonderful year round pleasant climate. Even in the winter months temperatures rarely fall below 22C. In summer the cooling influence of the Atlantic means it rarely rises above 30C. No wonder Tenerife is known as the 'Fortunate Island'
Golf del Sur / Aguamarina area
The Aguamarina Apartment complex ( Not to be confused with the Aguamarina Hotel which is a much older complex nearby) is sited right on the sea front. The sea views are quite outstanding. From the complex and very pleasant walk leads to you to the marina where you can relax and enjoy a drink while watching the boats. In the other direction this sea front walk leads to San Blas the centre of Golf del Sur where there are two large piazas with plenty of good restaurants. There are also restaurants within a 2 minute walk from Aguamarina.
There is a very good bus service linking 'The Golf' with many other places on the island. If a car is hired there is underground parking in the complex
How to get there
The most convenient airport for this accommodation is Tenerife South (TFS) giving a quick transfer time of 20 minutes. There is a second airport in the north of the island (TFN) which is about 90 minutes drive away. Many airlines fly to Tenerife-too many to list here in full but from the UK include Easyjet, Ryanair, First Choice, Thomas Cook, Iberia. Many other northern european countries also operate direct flights.

Satellite TV offering British and other European stations including BBC1, BBC2, ITV, C4 and SKY Sports (station line up does change from time too time). Additionally we have a DVD, and music centre with CD player
Ceiling fans are fitted in both bedrooms and the lounge. A safe is fitted for storage of valuables
The property is served by a lift and is wheelchair accessible although no special alterations or modifications have been made. There is a ramped walkway down to the restaurants on the sea front
Free Internet access provided in reception. Seating area is provided with ethernet cables delivering high speed access.
Further details outdoors: If you hire a car we have secure underground parking accessed with remote control keyfob. Well served by lifts to both penthouse and to the pool area which is very large and overlooks the sea. There are plenty of sun loungers here.

Away from it all! Tamyanda Worthing West Sussex. Date Submitted: September 07, 2008 Date of Stay: August 2008 We have just returned from staying in the Penthouse . The penthouse is a gem. Four in our group and we all had our own space! En suite to Master Bedroom was a real plus. Well presented and very clean with everything that you would need. Amazingly large terrace with seating for six and four good-quality loungers to help you soak up the sun! Fanstasic views from the terrace too. I recommend this penthouse without any reservation.
Tranquility itself Mature student Southport. Date Submitted: August 12, 2008 Date of Stay: July 2008 We have just returned from this apartment and had a fantastic time. To wake up to the sound of the sea crashing on the rocks and see that beautiful blue sky you just know you are on holiday. Location wise it is ideal with supermarket opposite, cafes, bars and restaurants just below the apartment. The pool is very well maintained and there were only a handful of people round it at most times during the day. In the centre of the complex are more bars, restaurants and shops with every type of cuisine in the world. Thoroughly recommended, beautifully maintained and cleaned
