About the home

A one bedroom bungalow within a secure gated access complex with a large lounge, American style kitchen, bathroom, cloakroom.
Large lounge with comfortable sofa bed (sleeps 2) and sliding door access to large terrace equipped with sun loungers and table and chairs. Lounge has dining area with table and chairs for four people.
Fully fitted kitchen; microwave, oven and ceramic hob, fridge and freezer, dishwasher and ample cupboards and place settings for 6 people.

Newly fitted full bathroom with twin wash hand basins, bath, wc, walk in shower. Separate cloakroom with WC and hand basin.
A digital code operated safe is provided to help secure your valuables whilst sun bathing.
Bedroom with king bed, 2 double wardrobes and dressing table plus bed side units and large cooling fan with French windows leading to a sun terrace which is West facing and views of Mount Teide.
Ouside there is a large patio equipped with table, 4 chairs and two sun loungers. Upstairs is a third sun terrace offering spectacular views of Mount Teide and the ocean to the South.

Please note that satellite reception has been terminated on Southern Tenerife by Sky. The property has it's own aerial receiving BBC1, BBC2, ITV1, Channel 4 and Channel 5 all viewable through a 26" Samsung flat screen TV.

Additional to the facilities listed the complex has pool tables and table tennis.

Complete new bathroom (Jul 2011) including a water softener which gives a much softer wash/bath/shower than regular Tenerife water which is extremely hard.
Recently decorated. Dvd player allows CDs to be played through LCD television.

The complex has 4 swimming pools (one heated in the winter months), table tennis, pool tables and a delightful restaurant serving both English and Continental dishes.

The Tenerife region

The perfect place for golfers and good for non-golfers too. Whether you are looking for championship golf, beautiful scenery, peace and tranquillity, beaches or lively entertainment - Golf Del Sur has it all.
Located just 10 minutes from the airport by taxi. The towns of Los Cristianos and Playa de las Americas
with their long sandy beaches and lively nightlife are also just 15 minutes drive away. To explore the island, a car is required but Golf Del Sur is the perfect base.

The Golf del Sur / The Palms area

2 golf courses, one less than 4 mins walk and one less then 15 mins walk. Golf del Sur is a 27 hole championship course (www.golfdelsur.net) and Amarillo Golf (www.amarillagolf.es/ing/index_ing.htm) has a signature hole where you drive over the sea!!
The beaches of El Medano host International competitions for windsurfers being a paradise only a 5 minute drive away.
The fishing village of Los Abrigos with it's quaint harbour is only a 20 minute walk or 5 minutes drive away. The harbour is ideal for eating out in the tasty yet inexpensive Canarian restaurants. The fish sold here are fresh as they come - being all caught daily.
There is tennis available very close by between the Palms and the Golf del Sur Club House.
Waterpark just 7 Euros taxi away
Horse Riding is availbale next to Amarillo Golf just 1 km walk from the bungalow.
Fishing available from various points on the island but especially good from Los Abrigos.
Great location for beach or poolside relaxation and a perfect winter sun break

Fly to Tenerife South (Reina Sofia) then take a taxi for about 12Euros. (10Kms).
Cheap flights from Birmingham (£109) Manchester (£109) Newcastle(£125) Leeds/Bradford (109). Check out Monarch Airlines, Jet2.com, Thomsonfly and Thomas Cook.
Car hire is not necessary as there are many facilities locally. Local car hire companies are cheaper than the airport.

“Must Be Paradise” We ahve only returned from a fabulous 2 weeks in this bungalow. Weather was windy but very hot. Restaurant on site excellent and the staff are so friendly. Would recommend this bungalow and The Palms. We would certainly go back to The Palms.

Prices are for up to four persons. Christmas and New Year are priced at £350 per week. (£650 for both). Laundry and towels are clean on arrival. Mid week changes are available for an additional £25.00 fee but advance notice is required.
