About the home

Sunny Villa has two twin-bedded bedrooms. On the ground floor there is a double bedroom, newly renovated Jan 2012 spacious bathroom with shower, large lounge area with plasma TV, free view satalite and DVD player, two settees one of which is a large double sofa bed and patio doors leading on to the large terrace. Dining area for four/six people. Fully fitted kitchen, microwave, oven and hob, washing machine and fridge freezer.

Kitchen leads to a small garden and drying area. The upper floor consists of a double bedroom and en-suite bathroom with walk in shower. Patio doors lead to the large balcony that enjoys sunshine from morning till night while remaining totally private for that all over tan. There are ceiling fans in all rooms. Sun loungers, outdoor furniture, BBQ, Iron and Ironing board are supplied.

Extra amenities are available at a cost ie Welcome hamper packs, pushchair, cots, high chair, zip bed, fans and much more.

WELCOME TO THE EXCLUSIVE SUNNINGDALE VILLAGE resort which is conveniently located on Golf Del Sur just 15 minutes from the airport. The popular tourist centre of Los Cristianos and the lively nightlife of Playa Las Americas are also just a 15 minute drive away. The precinct of San Blas is only a few minutes walk with facilities including bars, restaurants, car rental, hair and beauty salon plus many other varied shops and should you ever need them a doctor and dentist. Close by is the fishing village of Los Abrigos, well known for its excellent seafood restaurants and El Medano beach which holds the World Windsurfing Championships. In Amarilla Golf there is a marina for boat rental, jet skis and diving. Approximately 1 mile from the villa are the larger shops of Las Galetas with its furniture stores, hypermarket and even an Iceland for those who prefer totally British food.

The villas within the village are set amidst colourful landscaped tropical gardens that bloom throughout the year and located within the prestigious Golf del Sur area of southern Tenerife. On-site facilities include, pool tables, enclosed playground, temperature controlled swimming pool and adjoining children’s pool, Bar, restaurant with entertainment. Zachary's Restaurant and Bar is on-site and offers a varied selection of food and beverage. Dine under the stars... enjoy barbecues, typical Canarian, Flamenco, Arabian and Bolywood themed nights, or select from the International a la carte menu. Guests have full access to all the resort amenities to make your holiday a truly memorable one.

Golf: Golf Del Sur is one of the biggest and best golf courses in Tenerife. It has 27 holes and a wealth of natural features to test the keenest golfer. Pepe Gancedo designed the original course in 1987 but in 2005 top Spanish player Manuel Pinero gave it a facelift, converting the Links into par 36 and making it the the full Championship Course it is today. Each of the three courses offers its own particular set of challenges. In the North Course, the most attractive hole is HOLE 3, that runs along the “San Blas Ravine” and has the peak of Teide as its dramatic backdrop. HOLE 5 of the Links course which is a par 4 has a high position Tee which gives the player a fantastic view of the course and sea. And in the South, HOLE 2, par 3, is a favourite of many being fondly known as the “fried egg”, thanks to the volcanic sand which surrounds it.

Budget airlines run great deals all year round. Taxi service available and also several car hire companies.

Leave the airport in the left-hand lane of the dual carriageway, signpost ‘Los Cristianos'. This takes you onto the motorway.

After 3km, leave the motorway at the first junction, signposted ‘Los Abrigos' and ‘Las Galletas'.

Cross over the Motorway Bridge carrying straight on at the immediate roundabout. You will now be travelling in the direction of Los Abrigos and Golf del Sur.

After about four hundred yards there is a right turn that instantly arrives at a further roundabout leading to Golf del Sur.

Passing between the North & South courses you come to a junction which guides you Right onto a one way system around the development.

Continue down towards the sea passing ‘The Palms' on the left. Shortly after, turn left signposted Sunningdale Village

Turn left again, then immediately right into Sunningdale Village where the Reception will be found on the right hand side.

“Lovely Apartment well equipped” Could not adult the apartment for anything, the complex was small but the kids loved to the pool and we had a hot tub on our patio which was.a very surprise. Planes are a bit noisy as very near... more

“another great sunningdale holiday” The newly refurbished bathroom looks lovely it just needs the ceiling finished. The apartments location is perfect for the pool and also for parking the car. Overall we will be going back next year again. The one down side was the lack of decent utensils in the kitchen.
