About the home

Sleeping up to 2 people with living/sleeping area comprising of 1 double sofa bed, TV / Radio, Bathroom, private sun patio with views of waterfall, tropical gardens and pool, on the Royal Parque Albatros Gold Crown complex.

Fully equipped, all linen and towels provided, linen changed weekly, you need only bring your camera and beach towels.

The pool has enough sun beds for everyone but if you want privacy there are 2 reclining chairs & 2 sun beds on your patio.

We are only ten minutes from the Airport, The 27 hole Golf complex which has hosted the 'Tenerife Open' on many occasions also offers Tennis, Horse Riding, Water sports including the famous scuba diving (Paddi) facilities amongst its many attractions. Now open all year round bowls just next door. The marina & Amarilla Golf course is just a 2 minute walk along the coast. Beaches you are spoilt for choice.

There are many places to eat & drink along the sea front, on the complex there is a great restaraunt with entertainment most nights plus happy hour 5 to 6 by the pool.click on this link to see video of complex..

Golf Del Sur is in the south of the island 10 minutes from the airport towards Los Cristianos & playa de las Americas (a further 15 minute drive) It is in the area known as San Miguel. It is a village in it's own right with everything you need. The capitol of Santa Cruz is only a 35 minute drive away. Ideal location for all types of holiday from sight seeing to scuba diving to golf and perfect for sunbathing. We also have naturist beaches.

Apartment information Why not sit on the balcony and enjoy the sea views, and listen to the waterfall running down amongst the beautiful tropical gardens The Golf del Sur is built around a 27 hole Championship Golf Course, right next to the Atlantic Ocean. For the sporty amongst you, as well as the 3 other golf courses, Golf del Sur is also home to an 8 rink international bowling green. There are many bars, restaurants and shops for you to choose from, especially at the local Commercial Centre where you will also find a bank and a doctor. The island of Tenerife has so much to offer, Why not visit the Teide National Park or have a cruise to the nearby island of La Gomera.

Transport A car is not required as a taxi rank is directly outside of the complex, there is also a bus stop should you fancy a trip to los cristianos or playa de las Americas.

Health For the health conscious, next door there is a Gym & Sauna and also a Gym & Sauna at the rear of the complex.

The Golf del Sur / Royal Parque Albatros area

Only minutes walk away from the many facilities offered. Bars ,restaurants, car rental, hairdressers, Church, beach and many more. Within walking distance is the local fishing village of Los Abrigos with its promenard of fish restaurants.We have a variety of beaches from fine sand to large pebble,some with rock pools to keep the little ones busy. El Medano beach holds the world windsurfing championships and in Ammarilla golf course there is a Marina for boat rental ,jet skis or diving. Mount Teide is only an hour drive away with all the wonderful views on the way .horse riding and tennis are also on site not to mention crazy golf and the real thing 18 & 27 holes Championship courses.There are seven more courses in the south of the Island not to mention the North. Summer school is available for children if you wish to enrol them even for a day.

Shopping And Clubbing Tenerife is a duty free island and there is a multitude of shops to choose from, the little boutiques in Santa Cruz or the shopping malls in Las Americas. There are still bargains to be had in the local shops. Bring your Euros!! You get a better bargain with cash!! Night clubs for the young and energetic are mainly in Las Amaricas open till dawn but we do have some on site with good live artists open till the last leaves or the sun comes up!

The Island is very varied, from par 3´s and pitch and putt for the beginner to a selection of Championship courses. Most are in the South within a twenty minute drive the furthest away only 45mins drive.The newest course is on the island of La Gomera a short ferry ride away.In the winter months it is adviseable to book tee times to avoid dissapointment at a chosen venue. Metal spikes are not allowed in Tenerife, bring soft spikes. Golf Del Sur´s 1st tee is a five minute walk from the apartment where you also have the driving and practice range if you want to spend a few hours perfecting your game. Coaching is bookable with one of the pro´s. Most days of the week there are competitions to enter.
