Our apartment offers a beautiful view from the terrace of both the ocean and Mount Teide, making it a very relaxing and peaceful start to the day watching the sunrise over the top of Montana Roja (nature reserve). You will be able to appreciate the sun on the balcony for a large part of the day against the backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean. On the other side there is a majestic view of Mount Teide with its snow capped peak during the winter months. Table and chairs provided for al fresco dining. You can find a parasol inside the apartment. The apartment is fully equipped for your convenience on a self catering holiday.

The apartment is away from any traffic, but within a short walk from the restaurant/café and shopping facilities at Golf del Sur. Buses stop just outside the complex, so getting around to all of the activities in Tenerife is a breeze.

The Tenerife region

Tenerife has been a popular holiday destination for many years, thanks to the all year round, guaranteed warm climate. To the North of the island the land is very fertile and green, whereas to the south the land is dry and sun drenched. The National park of Mount Teide has some breathtaking views and the green pine forests of the park is a sharp contrast from the arid land in the south of the island. Mount Teide is the highest mountain in Spain and is found towards the centre of the island. As a result many people from Europe visit the south for a sunshine/beach holiday.

There are excursions around the Island and to other islands such as nearby, La Gomera which is renowned for its walks and whale and dolphin watching. Some of the historic guancho towns in the North such as La Oratava are well worth a visit.

Golf del Sur / Terrazas de La Paz area

Golf Del Sur is a quiet, relaxing resort on the south of Tenerife within easy distance by car of the airport and other more lively destinations such as Playa del Las Americas and Los Christianos. There are local shops and Cafes nearby in Golf Del Sur Centre and lovely coastal path walks, which take you past many seafront restaurants and to the nearby marina at Amarilla Golf

There are several well maintained golf courses nearby, one of which is right across Terrazzas De La Paz. The Amarillo golf course is within 3 Kms.

The quaint and pretty fishing village of Los Abrigos is accessible by walking or by road. Here, you can sit by the harbour watching the boats, whilst enjoying Tapas or a romantic evening meal. The village also holds a weekly market on a Tuesday evening.

Buses stop just outside the complex. Regular service takes you to Las Americas and Los Christianos.

How to get there

Approximately 5KM from Tenerife South Airport. If going by car take the TF1 in the diretion of Los Christianos and Las Americas. Exit at Las Chafiras, San Miguel De Abona following signs for Los Abrigos and Golf del Sur.

Car hire is not necessary. However if you want to explore other parts of the island more easily you can avail car hire from the airport. Cheapest is Autoreisen (www.autoreisen.es). Other well known companies are there as well.

You can also take a taxi from the airport, these are easy to access.

The apartment is fully furnished comprising of a kitchen area with fitted units and work tops, electric oven and hob, refrigerator, coffee machine, toaster and washing machine. Other kitchen equipment includes a coffee maker, toaster, electric grinder, kettle and fridge. For indoor eating there is a dining table with four chairs. There is enough crockery and cutlery for four. There is also an iron, ironing board and a hairdryer. There are ample points to enable use of UK gadgets.

Lounge/ dining area has dining table and chairs, coffee table, double sofa bed, arm chair, television, DVD player, sideboard and ceiling fan.

Sliding glass patio doors lead out onto private balcony, with table and chairs with fantastic views of both the Sea and Mount Teide to dine and relax with.

The bathroom is fully equipped with bath, shower, toilet, bidet and a basin with illuminated mirror. Next to which is a good sized bedroom with twin beds, a bedside table and lamp, chest of drawers, large fitted wardrobes with a safe inside for the use of our guests.

Further details outdoors:
Terrazas De La Paz has two newly and tastefully refurbished, tiled, Spanish style swimming pools exclusively for the use of residents. These pools are locked and the key is provided with apartment key.

As the apartments are built on a slope (hence the name Terrazas), you never really climb a lot of stairs. To get to the apartment you walk down two flights and then walk up one.

Terrazas De La Paz is a convenient location for either an activity based or just a warm and relaxing holiday with a lot of guaranteed sunshine, without the hustle and bustle of the larger resorts.
