About the home

Parque Albatros is a beautiful stylish complex with lovely exotic gardens; a stream rambles through the gardens and is crossed by wooden bridges, it leads to a waterfall which drops into the main swimming pool. Looking across from the apartment you can see the stream running through the tropical gardens down into the pool below. The complex has spacious sunbathing areas surrounding the main and children’s pool, there is a secure children’s play area and on the opposite side there is a pool table, table tennis and a darts board for the older children and adults. The complex is popular with both families and couples of all ages and the complex atmosphere is chilled and restful.There is an on-site restaurant which serves excellent breakfasts, lunches and evening meals, Sunday evenings is Barbecue night which we can highly recommend.

Golf Del Sur town centre (San Blas) has many things to offer. From the apartment you can take a short stroll on the sea fronts main pathway or take a more direct route past the golf courses. When you come to San Blas, here you will find more restaurants, a supermarket and pubs that have Karaoke, Football, Tapas bars and a special of ours, for those special evenings: The Gulliver’s restaurant.

Coming into the apartment, the double bedroom is on the immediate right. There are bedside lockers, double wardrobes with mirrors and 5 drawer chest and a chair in the corner. Next right from the Hall is the bathroom, which has an overhead shower and bath, toilet, wash basin and large vanity unit with illuminated mirror over head. Next from the hall is the Dining area, which has a table with seating for 4 and on the right the kitchen with breakfast bar with Stools, all the appliances you need can be found here. The large family living room has a 3 seater sofa and a 2 seater sofa (sofa bed) and an occasional table, TV and lamp, a Radio with CD player is also provided.

The terrace overlooks the pool, which makes it great for evening dining and entertaining, perfect for an evening drink. From the entrance door you can see Mount Teide over the valley, you can bring the outdoor chairs from the balcony through to the front entrance, as the passage way can form an end peaceful sitting area that is tranquil and harmonious ~ here, you could have an afternoon refreshment drink without any disturbance.

In the mornings you can wake up to the birds singing in the trees opposite the apartment and again just before the sun sets each evening.

Royal Parque Albatros has a large heated lagoon style swimming pool, with lifeguards, and a children's pool. There are also sunbeds, mattresses and sun umbrellas, which are free of charge. In this area there is also a Children's Play area. At various times of the year there are activities such as aquarobics, diving lessons, Massage facilities and children's games available.

The keys to the apartment are held by local English keyholder on site.
The apartment will be available from 4pm on day of arrival.
On day of departure, the apartment must be vacated by 10am.
20% non-refundable deposit required at time of booking.
Payments can be made by cheque or bank transfer.
Balance due, at latest, 6 weeks prior to arrival.
We do employ a cleaner, but please leave the apartment clean and tidy.

The apartment is on the first floor which is reached via a lift or up a short flight of steps.
25% of the rental fee is due six weeks before your stay to secure booking.

The Tenerife region

There are many things to do in Tenerife: the busy resorts of Los Cristianos and Las Americas with all their facilities and golden sandy beaches are approx 20 minutes away by car. Alternatively, for a few Euros, you can use the daily bus service from directly outside the complex. For a start, how about taking the cable car up Mount Teide - the third largest volcano on Earth (12400ft) to see the volcanic lava plain where ‘Star Wars’ was filmed, hike amongst the spectacular volcanic scenery, go Whale & Dolphin watching, shop in the historic capital city Santa Cruz, or if you prefer - visit the zoo park, the water park, or just relax at the pool or the beach. There are many organised tours that pick you up at the front of the resort both from Day Excursions to the Evening Excursions, like the famous Medieval Night.

The Golf del Sur / Royal Parque Albatros area

Golf del Sur is surrounded by an ocean of green, as its name suggests, Golf del Sur does boast a 27-hole Championship course, this is split into three 9-hole links courses which are surrounding the resort. There are splendid views of the Mountains ~ The most famous Mount Teide. The resort is surrounded by deep blue ocean and is only approx 5 miles away from the airport and is easily accessible by taxi or hire car.

There is an excellent selection of restaurants, including Chinese, Japanese/Oriental, Spanish, Italian and many others, many of which directly overlook the sea and the new Marina. The new Marina is only a short walk away and now has a bar and café as well as a Yellow Submarine Safaris that will take you down 30 metres to view the undersea world of the Atlanic ocean! Directly adjacent to the Marina is a small natural black sand beach.

A short distance away from the apartment is the San Blas shopping centre where you will find a supermarket, clothes and electrical gadget shops, cafes, sports bars and a number of restaurants around a central square and small Church. In the evening Live music is played in the square, plus there is a nightclub if you are feeling energetic.
