Spacious two bedroomed apartment, one bedroom has a double bed and the other has twin beds, both practical and romantic.The American style open kitchen has a four burner hob,a microwave oven,toaster,electric kettle,washing machine.There are two sofas in the lounge area one of which is a single bed.T V and video,radio ,cd player and fully equipped. A hairdryer, iron and portable fan are also provided. Shower room and WC.The lounge, which has a ceiling fan, opens on to the patio with table chairs and two sun beds it is south facing giving all day sunshine perfect for topping up your "white bits" in private.
There are 7 steps up to the front door and then it is all on one level.

The Tenerife region

Golf del Sur is located on the south coast of the Island with the imposing volcano of mount Teide in the centre of the island only an hours drive away. If you choose to take a trip up to the top of the volcano on the way up you drive through many Spanish villages, one is called Villaflor and as the name suggests at certain times of the year,(mainly spring) the village is a mass of orange flowers (Californian poppies). The northen end of Tenerife is well known for its wine growing regions, there are many vineyards that welcome visitors and will give a tour of the bodegas and sample the many wines on offer. Also in the northen end are the forests and mountainous drives and walks to be had. Guided walks can be taken in the national park.The south is more known for it's beaches,sun and night clubs for the young (and not so young) and it's variety of sports especially the many new golf courses. Whale and dolfin watching is a very popular excursion to take.
In the old capitol of La Laguna in June (Corpus Cristi) the wonderful sand and flower carpets are laid in the streets for all to admire.

All through the year Fiestas are held ,the biggest being in February in the capital of Santa Cruz when all the world it seems celebrate Carnival.It has the reputation of being the 3rd largest in the world.
June is the time for the street flower and sand carpets.
September is the time for the local fishermen to give thanks to their own Patrons of the Church and have wonderful street party's and the most fantastic firework displays.
World windsurfing championships are held in El medano 5 km away
golf tournaments normally in February

How to get there

Fly to tenerife south and then take a 10 minute drive to san miguel de abona and Golf del Sur either by taxi,rent a car or local bus.
If you wish to arrive from the continent a ferry service is weekly from Seville or Cadiz.This takes two days and arrives in the capitol of Santa Cruz.A further drive of 35 to 40 minutes brings you to the south and Golf del Sur.

The swimming pool has a kiddies pool area. The surrounding area is full of bars,restaurants,rent a car,hairdressers,a Church,and completely surrounded by a golf course. Within 10 minutes of the apartment you can horse ride,windsurf, scubadive,sail, take a trip on the Yellow Submarine at the new marina, bowl,paraglide,parasail,play crazy golf,swim in the warm sea,hike or play golf on one of the local golf courses or even go shopping in the duty free shopping malls. If none of that takes your fancy lay on a sun bed and relax!!
