Home description

A luxury 2 bedroom self catering bungalow which has been refurbished and extended to a very high standard being completed in March 2007. The second bedroom is a good size - not just a cupboard with a bed - no making up beds in the living room! It is situated in a secure gated complex on the Golf Del Sur, Tenerife. The complex has 4 pools with one of them heated in winter from November to February. The complex has lovely sub-tropical gardens. The bungalow is situated between two of the pools which are only a short distance away. Also there is a club house/bar/restaurant on the complex adjacent to the main pool which is very friendly and excellent value for money. They also have entertainment on of a night. The Wednesday barbecue is excellent and well worth trying. The bar also has pay internet and free Wifi available. The bungalow is good for anyone with walking difficulties as there are no steps to climb and everything is on the same level with your own parking immediatly in front of the bungalow.

The Tenerife region

Tenerife has a sub tropical warm climate all year round. A geat place for Families and Golfers.

Golf del Sur / The Palms area

There is a very small man made sandy beach within 10 minutes walk next to the new marina, with bars and restaurants.
There are lovely large sandy beaches in Los Christianos and Las Americas that are 15 minutes away.
There is a local commercial centre of San Blas with many different restaurants and shops about 10 minute walk away. A further ten minutes gets you to the quaint village of Los Abrigos with its many fish restaurants and harbour .
There are windsurfing beaches of El Medano only a 10 minute drive away.
Los Chistianos and Playa De Las Americas can easily be reached by car, local bus or taxi.
Golf Del Sur is is close to Reina Sofia airport.

Fly to Reina Sofia Airport (Tenerife South)
Cheap flights are normally available by Monarch, Thomson, BA etc.
Taxi from airport or local buses run from Los Christianos and Las Americas
Autoreisen cheap car hire from airport.

There are 2 full size double bedrooms, the main bedroom has a king size double bed with patio doors leading onto the front terrace, there is a large built in wardrobe and bedside cabinets, this bedroom also has air conditioning to cool the room for a good nights sleep. The other bedroom is a good size with a double bed and a en suite bathroom which includes a shower. The bedroom also has a large built in wardrobe. The bathroom is adjacent to the main bedroom and has a bath with shower over. There is a spacous lounge with patio doors leading onto the rear terrace which is has a new table and chairs with 2 sunloungers all with thick padded covers plus sun umbrella. The lounge also has a television (with BBC1, BBC2, ITV, CH4 & CH5 plus 2 film channels), DVD, CD/Radio and a Ipod dock/player.
The kitchen is fully fitted with oven, ceramic hob, fridge/freezer (good for your icecreams!), washing machine (how can you go on holiday without a washing machine!!!), kettle, toaster and microwave.
The bungalow has been re-tiled throughout. There is a small safe for your free use.
There is also a folding cot and high chair (own linen required for cot).

There are 3 sun terraces, the main one is at the back overlooking the private sub-tropical gardens and pool area, which has sun loungers, table and chairs. The second is on the front of the Bungalow with the third being a small private roof terrace which is great for late night cocktails watching the sun go down. There is also a charcoal BBQ.

We are a no smoking family and it is requested that any smoking is done outside.

The apartment was spotless when we arrived, perfect location and size for us all and had everything we needed.
We found that the location was brilliant, we went off to all sorts of beaches and interesting places everyday and used the heated pool at least once a day.
At this stage we are all very keen to return next year so I may well be in touch again soon
