About the home

The villa is a luxury 2 bedroom self catering bungalow which has been refurbished and extended to a very high standard. The second bedroom is a good size - not just a cupboard with a bed - no making up beds in the living room! It is situated in a secure gated complex on the Golf Del Sur, Tenerife. The complex has 4 pools with one of them heated in winter from November to February. The complex has lovely sub-tropical gardens. The bungalow is situated between two of the pools which are only a short distance away. Also there is a club house/bar/restaurant on the complex adjacent to the main pool which is very friendly and excellent value for money. They also have nightly entertainment. The bar also has pay internet and free Wifi available so take your laptop. The bungalow is good for anyone with walking difficulties as there are no steps to climb and everything is on the same level with your own parking immediatly in front of the bungalow - just a few steps to take your luggage and shopping!
You will find everything you will need in the bungalow for a lovely stay. You will find the sub-tropical gardens a delight when you are sitting on the rear terrace with lovely palm trees, flowers and birds.

There are 2 full size double bedrooms, the main bedroom has a king size double bed with patio doors leading onto the front terrace, there is a large built in wardrobe and bedside cabinets, this bedroom also has air conditioning to cool the room for a good nights sleep. The other bedroom is a good size and also has a king size double bed with a en suite bathroom which includes a shower. The bedroom also has a large built in wardrobe and fan units to keep you cool. The bathroom is adjacent to the main bedroom and has a bath with shower over. There is a spacous lounge with patio doors leading onto the rear terrace which is has a table and chairs with 2 sunloungers plus a sun umbrella. There is a large ceiling fan in the lounge. The lounge also has a 42" Plasma Television (with BBC1, BBC2, ITV, CH4 & CH5 plus 2 film channels), DVD, CD/Radio and a Ipod dock/player.
The kitchen is fully fitted with oven, ceramic hob, fridge/freezer (good for your icecreams!), washing machine (how can you go on holiday without a washing machine!!!), kettle, toaster and microwave.
The bungalow has been re-tiled throughout. There is a small safe for your free use.
There is also a travel cot and high chair (own linen required for cot).

There are 3 sun terraces, the main one is at the back overlooking the private sub-tropical gardens and pool area, which has sun loungers, table and chairs. The second is on the front of the Bungalow with the third being a small private roof terrace which is great for late night cocktails watching the sun go down. These terraces are great for catching the sun right throughout the day. There is also a charcoal BBQ to make the most of Tenerife weather. The gardens are lovely and it's great to relax looking over the palms trees and tropical plants.

The Tenerife region

Tenerife has a sub tropical warm climate all year round. A geat place for Families and Golfers.

The Golf del Sur / The Palms area

There is a very small man made sandy beach within 10 minutes walk next to the new marina, with bars and restaurants.
There are lovely large sandy beaches in Los Christianos and Las Americas that are 15 minutes away.
There is a local commercial centre of San Blas with many different restaurants and shops about 10 minute walk away. A further ten minutes gets you to the quaint village of Los Abrigos with its many fish restaurants and harbour .
There are windsurfing beaches of El Medano only a 10 minute drive away.
Los Chistianos and Playa De Las Americas can easily be reached by car, local bus or taxi.
Golf Del Sur is is close to Reina Sofia airport.

“Well exceeded expectations” We stayed here for a week as 2 couples. Ideal layout - you woudn't know each other was there at night! Beautiful bungalow with everything you could possibly need. Ideal complex for a very relaxing break. Plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance all reasonable prices. Lovely little bar on site - everybody very friendly and prices very reasonable. We are returning for the new year.

“everything we hoped it would be, and more” arrived at bungalow to find it was spotlessly clean and much bigger than we expected, it is also very well equiped, and had all that we needed, the bungalow is on a residential complex and we found the residents to be very helpful, the large supermarket [mercadona] is a 30 minute stroll away but well worth it even if just for the 99 cents wine, try the white,rose,or red, all very good, take a taxi back it will only cost you 5 euros, there are a few bars and places to eat locally, but it is worth a 15 minute walk to san blas,it is all there, the local bus service is very good we used it a lot, we realy enjoyed this holiday and would go back again. gary and judy, shrewsbury
