About the home

Our one bedroom apartment can sleep 4, with two single beds in the bedroom, plus, a bed settee which easily converts into a double bed. It was totally refurbised recently with a new fully tiled, bath/shower room and kitchen. The entire property has been decorated and has all mod cons, including dining area which seats 4, lounge area and balcony with garden furniture. There is Satelite TV, BBC, ITV, SKY, DVD/CD, Spanish Digital TV (Premiership and European football) and stereo radio.

Green Park is a well established complex with restaurants, shops, bars, launderette and car hire on site. The complex has 3 pools, tennis court, and beautiful gardens. Suitable for mature couples or families, but not teen/twenties "clubbers."

This one bedroom apartment is fully fitted with everything you need for a quiet family holiday. As well as the kitchen with all mod-cons including hob, combination microwave/full oven, toaster etc. there is a washing machine for your convenience during your holiday. A walter filter is also fitted for drinking water from the tap.

The entertainment system in fully comprehensive with DVD/CD, radio, BBC/ITV, SKY satelitte TV plus Spanish Digital TV which provides Premiership and European football, also more English programmes.

We have a lovely balcony which has garden furniture seating four with pool and garden views. The gardens are extensive and well maintained. The grounds include fitness (pedal) machines, a tennis court, BBQ area and table tennis; all free to use.
The complex also has a cafe', pub, car/bike hire, and a laundrette, all with very competitive prices plus restaurants and a supermarket just across the road.

We have other apartments at Green Park and are available at all reasonable hours in the unlikely even you have a problem.
No problem smoking on the balcony.

The Tenerife region

The two major tourist towns of Los Cristianos and Las Americas are just over a 1 euro bus ride using the "bono" discount card. One route follows through the villages of Costa Del Silencio and Galletes, well worth visiting with a superb beach, long coastline and good restaurants. In the opposite direction, again on the bus route, is El Medeno, which also has a lovely beach and a vibrant and varied market every week. There are weekly markets on the Golf too, every Friday.
Tenerife has many historic sites to vist (Masca is a must) plus the highest mountain in Spain, Teide. There are many tours and trips available from reputable tour companies with leaflets in the room and booking available 50 metres away.

The Golf del Sur / Green Park area

The Golf Del Sur is very much a golfing area with an 18 hole PGA standard golf course, plus Amarilla 18 hole golf course half a mile away. There are many restaurants of all types and prices, as well as bars, shops and supermarkets. The next village, Los Abrigos is only a 10 minute coastal walk from the Golf's main centre San Blas, which is 10 minutes from the Apartment. Los Abrigos is "more Spanish" than San Blas; a small fishing village with numerous fish restaurants.

“Ideal apartment for a relaxing holiday in the sun” This apartment was absolutely ideal for the four of us. Supermarkets, shops, restaurants were all a short and scenic 10 minute walk away, a variety of black sandy beaches were close by and the pool was also great. Rob was very helpful and met us when we arrived and gave us helpful information about the area. We wanted to also see more of the island and it was easy to organise a trip to the volcano, without hiring a car, which picked us up 2 minutes from the apartment. The apartment itself is well furnished and the cooking facilities are good - we cooked our own meals mostly and had no problems at all. The CD collection was also thoroughly enjoyed by us! We found the birdlife to be no issue at all - many less birds than at home! The only negative is that the wi-fi is provided by the reception and is only available between 10am and 5pm however, this was not much of an issue for us. Overall an excellent stay, the description of the apartment above, given by Rob, is spot on.

“where to start if you like pigeons this is for you” the kettle didnt work the washing machine was filthy old softner still in it and there was netting over the front of the balcony you felt like you were a prisoner this was to keep the pigeons out the hole place is fall down dont go Response: As with all equipment in the apartment the kettle was checked and in perfect working order when the guests arrived. The recepticle for softner in the washing machine is only used by guests as all laundry is done at the laundrette: a little residue was spotted on inspection. As pigeons visit the complex from time to time a thin mesh net is installed and can easily be removed if desired, it is not visible even from the pool below... We believe the mesh is preferable to pigeon mess. As a positive we note the guests found no problem with the quality or cleanliness of the apartment or complex and did not mention pigeons or "filthy old softner" when we met for a drink in the pool bar....
