About the home

The apartment is in a quiet, high quality development, close to the 27 hole championship standard golf course at Golf del Sur. Reduced green fees are available on the Golf del Sur course. The commercial centre nearby is within easy reach with live entertainment on every evening. On a clear day the outline of Gran Canaria can be seen along with Tenerife's famous Red Rock, appropriately named as it turns a beautiful deep rich red colour as it heats up in the sunshine. The apartment is 45 minutes (20 miles) from Mount Teide while Los Cristianos and Playa de las Americas are a 20 minute ride away. Surfing, windsurfing , sailboarding and other water sports are available at El Medano a 15 minute ride away. Los Abrigos, a local fishing village, is a short walk or ride away and has a number of excellent fish restaurants.

The apartment is in excellent condition having been kept to a very high standard. It comprises lounge, dining area, bathroom, bedroom and balcony.
The bedroom has twin beds and there is a sofa-bed in the lounge. A z-bed can be supplied if required.There are ample fitted wardrobes and a portable TV.
The fully fitted kitchen includes an electric hob and full sized oven, microwave oven, fridge, toaster, kettle, washing machine and breakfast bar. There is an iron and ironing board.
Bed linen and towels are supplied and changed weekly. You will need your own beach towels.
The lounge has a plasma TV with BBC 1 & 2, ITV 1 & 2, Channel 4 & 5 and Sky News; DVD player and a hi-fi CD player and radio. The dining area has a table and 4 chairs. Patio doors lead from the lounge to the balcony and stunning views.
Cooling ceiling fans are in the lounge, dining area and bedroom.
The fully tiled bathroom includes bath and shower, sink and vanity unit, WC and bidet.
The balcony has a table and 4 chairs, clothes dryer and views of the Atlantic Ocean and the golf course.
This is a non-smoking apartment.

At the pools there are sun-beds, sunshades, outside showers and toilets. On-site there is a bar and restaurant. Crazy golf and tennis courts are nearby to the apartment. Within easy reach are the seaside promenade and pebble beaches. The new marina is also close by with shops and restaurants. There are pleasant seaside walks locally, and further afield walks in the mountains. Fishing is available locally and diving is on offer in San Blas the local commercial centre.

The Tenerife region

Tenerife South is best known for it's many hours of sunshine and it's attractive and accessible beaches, boasting many facilities. However, it also has picturesque towns and villages, which preserve their traditional character. Many of the villages and towns of the island still preserve their historical centres almost intact. There are nature areas and great scenery where you can do sports and outdoor activities. The leisure options are outstanding both during the day and at night. From many places boat excursions depart in search of another of this area's great attractions: whale watching among the colonies that inhabit the waters off the south coast.
Teide National Park - the highest peak in Spain (3718m), declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco, is an absolute must.
The Gigantes cliffs offer some of the most spectacular scenery in Tenerife. Their impressive sheer faces drop from heights of 600m in some places.
Aqualand waterpark makes up an excellent combined leisure and entertainment offer.
Loro Park is the best-loved animal park in the Canary Islands.
Siam Park - each ride is a perfect mix of fun, excitement and plenty of adrenaline.

The Golf del Sur / Ocean Golf and Country Club area

Golf del Sur is great for a relaxing peaceful break. There are friendly bars and restaurants and great walks. Walk to the small fishing village of Los Abrigos where there are lovely restaurants. Golf del Sur offers a 27 hole championship course where guest can play at reduced green fees. Beside the clubhouse are crazy golf and tennis courts. Five minutes from the apartment is an outdoor bowling green with a bar and restaurant on-site. The resort is near to the airport therefore a short transfer time to the apartment.

Ryanair, Jet2.com and Easyjet are low cost airlines flying from the UK to the south of Tenerife. Thomas Cook and Thomson also have regular flights too.
Several car hire companies are available at the airport.
Taxis are always at the airport and take 10 minutes to reach the apartment at a cost of no more than 15€.

“Excellent appartment with stunning views.” My wife & I stayed for 1 week in feb 2013, we were very pleased with the appartment, & its views from the balcony were excellent. The location on the Golf del sur is good shops & bars etc are not very far away. We will definitely be using the appartment again next year, possibilly for more than 1 week. Dave & Rose Salvage.
